I can't believe people who watch this series actually watch it to relate to the three kingdoms era. There is another well written film "Romace of The Three Kingdoms" go watch that instead. YES it is different historically but enjoyable to watch with their altered characters/plots. I love this film because I don't take it literally plot by plot like so many scrubs.
@xTnT87 If a film calls itself Zhuge Liang it'll have no choice but to suffer comparison with the original story. You can watch it as a normal wuxia, of course, but fans of Zhuge Liang watching a serial called Zhuge Liang, set in Zhuge Liang's setting will be disappointed, and rightly so.

Ancient Taoist scholars do indulge in taoist qigong n long sword fencing. Historians are not certain that Zhuge liang scholar, farmer n military strategist was a total layman in wu ji n wushu knowledge. There are indicatns in the more accurate historical record 'San Guo JI' dat suggests he was adept in archery..
wow, i expect to see Liu Bei, Cao Cao and but is that Yue Ying? where is Zhao Yuna and where is Zhang Fei or Guan Yu? oh yeah and where is Zhou Yu or Sun Jian?
This was actually quite a horrible rendition of the three kingdoms story, but Adam Cheng was, as usual, a commanding presence. The character was written all wrong, though =(
It's so weird to think of Zhuge Liang as a swordsman, but Adam Cheng was always so good with swordplay that I can forgive it.
Also, since I've never seen the series, I only catch bits of its fight scenes on youtube, which are usually pretty good. It doesn't surprise me that it didn't work as a Three Kingdoms adaptation.
It's ATV. Michelle Yim, Lo Lok Lam, Wong Wai and Adam have worked both stations quite frequently. Kenny Ho is the only one, I think, who never worked for TVB.
TVB have requested that all my TVB clips be taken down, so thankfully ATV haven't done the same! =)

This is a little known fact, but Zhuge Liang was actually the creator of the Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Palms and the Beggars' Sect!
If Liu Bei had allowed Zhuge Liang out of his wheelchair, then he would have single-handedly won him a kingdom!
But noooooo!
Liu Bei wanted Guan Yu!

Adam Cheng was a legend. Ever since Ming Jian, he was a great fighter guy, and a good actor.
Takeshi Kaneshiro has the good looks, but I agree that he was not very believing as a WISE man (like Zhuge Liang should actually be)
