The Ford Crown Victoria POLICE INTERCEPTOR is a purpose built police car. It's just like the Ford Ambulance that appeared at the beginning of the video, which is actually based on a Ford truck/ van. The definition "purpose built" should not be based on something that's made from scratch. Those Crown Vic Police Interceptors do their job very well, just as good as those Ford Ambulances.
E7 150...4get the crown Victoria there's a tie between the impala and the E7...u know wat...the cvpi needs a rest...as a matter of fact I'm tired of seeing the Crown Victoria's...too typical
Wheelman I'll disagree with ya on the 22mpg on the Vic. Maybe when it was in it's stock form it might have got 22mpg. But after adding all the equipment thats need to convert a regular car into a police unit the Vic gets heavier which in turn makes MPG go down. Yes a lot of converted cop cars get the emissions and other engine restrictive equipment removed but it still can not compare to the Diesel engine thats being put into the E7.And oh yes it will be tested against the Vic and Impala's.
Dangerously retrofitted family sedans? you idiots need to take a look at what a real CVPI and Impala and really see if your words are truth because what i hear from your reports is pure favor for a "patrol" car that has NOT proven itself in 30 some years that the Ford Crown Victoria has. not to mention the fact that the vic can get up to 22 MPG. id love to see you take a vic and a E7 and a impala and base them on a 1 year trial and really see how long that hunk of junk you call a cop car lasts
the only think that sucks about this car are the lights...they just doesn't seem to stand out in the day time enough. am i the only one who thinks that?
@centraldrummer If you have noticed as of late most of the state police and local police cars are being converted to ultra bright LED lighting. With the E7 it has 360* light viewing meaning it can be see (Red and Blue) from any angle. And yes they are bright during the day. In fact a lot of the police and state agency's agree, there are already 16325 reservations from 498 agency's in 50 states already.
Gosh now they freakin care about the police. I always wonder why the cops don't get the lates technology every year. I respect every law enforcement, FBI, CIA, speical force, our military etc and everyone of then should be updated to avoid people lives end. I always wanted the cops to atless have a better smarter car or have a light vest for protection to have a better chance to live during a gun fight.

it doesnt have enough fuckin beerholders..wtf..and fyi..where are the mlrs???? i mean cmon..is it too much to ask for some fuckin rockets..wow its easy to hose out the puke in the backseat
Your an idiot Savec13......your obviously not a police officer and could not appreciate a car of the design......and onstar is a GM only usauge. Secondly not all police responses are with speeding cars.....some involve weapons and many other types of calls......in the long run it would be cheaper for agencies
this is a waste of our money. in a few years all the cars will be hybrid and have onstar which can shut the car off if the cops need to. pretty sure they should put onstar in morons cars instead of spending a shit load of money which isnt there already.
I think you're on to something there. The problem is, it would be incompatible with old cars. It would also be way too easy to remove parts of the system and render it useless. I say we put chips inside everyone's body which each respond to a unique signal and release sedatives into their bodies.
You could buy 3 Crown Vics for the price of one E7. Id pass it up to replace my fleet and only maybe buy a few. My department is primarily 95% Crown Vics, with a few Chargers and Ford Expeditions for Supervisors and Explorers for different operations.
whaaa im scared im gonna talk shit about cops... o wait until i need them and then ill call them and hope to god they get to help me in time.. stop being little bitches... u hate cops till u need them, dont b a lil bitch.. How will they b easier to spot on the road with no LED lights on the roof? ur a moron... ur a cry baby cuz u got a ticket from a traffic cop u newb. Dont b mad that your car will get pooped on by this whip, dont b jelous that ur job wont give u a pimp whip like this. Go COPS!
