But Christian, Pagan, Muslim, Hindu, Taoist, Jewish, Agnostic, Atheist, Voodoo Priest (I left out a few) -- we should all work for religious tolerance and refrain from forcing our beliefs on others. This culturally and religiously diverse world will never advance further than we have now if we do not learn to be peaceful and control our religious intolerance.

She sounds like a mystic in this songs. I can remember first hearing this about 10-12 years ago and thought is the best version of any Christmas song by anybody. It is still my favorite, like some love Elvis' Blue Christmas. Stevie brings such majesty to the song: "When it was a holy night." Says it all. I hate to admit this but this brought tears to my eyes~her dad putting a baby buggy together, yet she never had any children. I had a baby carriage too at about that age waiting for me under the tree~ something a young girl never forgets. And yes, later I realized my dad had put it together, not Santa. And I'm also OLD school~ I still say Merry
