It's phone + mini tablet, It's probably around 5" so it fits in your pocket, unless you're some kid who wears baby pants it will fit. I like how Samsung gives you choice of different sizes unlike iPhone with tiny 3.5" screen, that shit hurts my eyes when surfing net.

The ultimate convergence device. Thanks Samsung for continuing what Dell started with the Mini. It looks more refined than the Mini and also seems more usable than the tablet-only Flyer. Will the phone get glances? Yes. But will it be actually usable for the daily grind? I think so. Much easier to carry than a 7' tablet which you end up having to put down and the pocket tests look favorable. Does inclusion of the UMTS 2100 band mean that data will work on T-Mobile's network?

I am happy about all the synchronisation between my apple products.
The problem with samsung is, that you got a lot of problems with apple products, the software is really ready yet, you can't really synch without extra software for what you have to pay a lot of money.
I would buy a Samsung smartphone, really!! But first they've to get rid of it with all the software problems between mac and samsung.

And they have that same processor paired with devices with much smaller batteries, and the screen size is only slightly larger than devices like the galaxy nexus and the HTC rezound which, both have good battery life (with smaller batteries than this). I guess we'll just have to see when they release more specs.

Seriously do you need a computer if you have that thingy? Lets give it a name...a tabphone pretty much. I am sure when they come to the US the US carries the likes of Sprint Verizon and AT&T and the "old navy" t-mobile will require that the phone feature be taken away as this this tabphone will eat all their profits of all the other phones in the store...so selling it as a premier tab to make as much from it maybe more feasible as profits are more important than customers in the US.

WOW I love this phone :D although it's not as smooth as the galaxy s2 though.. probably because of the higher resolution screen. But it's still really smooth..
I currently own an HTC Desire HD with a 4.3" screen. As the overall device is quite neat, I suspect that the Galaxy Note 5.3" would make a comfortable phone without appearing over-the-top. As my ideal is to have an Andoid phone with tablet-like screen, the Galaxy Note would be perfect for me! Apple's iPhone 4S (with its brilliant features) would have been a close contender had it not been for its 'tiny' screen! I think I will simply purchase the iPad 3 when it is released early next year.
Screen is state of the art. Impressive. Phone is pretty ass. When will Samsung give up on wack ass Android. All their overlays are terrible. Sense 3.0 is the ONLY decent one they have. And you definitely don't need a screen bigger than 4.3 inches on a smartPHONE... any bigger than that is novelty... you're carrying around a big, hokey playdoh phone.

I am apple user since 4 years, I am a graphic designer.
I am happy about all the synchronisation between my apple products.
The problem with samsung is, that you got a lot of problems with apple products, the software is really ready yet, you can't really synch without extra software for what you have to pay a lot of money.
I would buy a Samsung smartphone, really!! But first they've to get rid of it with all the software problems between mac and samsung.

And they have that same processor paired with devices with much smaller batteries, and the screen size is only slightly larger than devices like the galaxy nexus and the HTC rezound which, both have good battery life (with smaller batteries than this). I guess we'll just have to see when they release more specs.

@XDKX101 A phone itself these days is a PDA, if you can't listen to music, or play games what the fuck is the point? To have a device that can't even fit in your pocket and that will have terrible battery life.
If all it does is take notes and do "professional stuff" then what's the point. I'll still side with my iPod 4g, at least it will have good hardware with a good battery life to match, and I can listen to music and play games.

If you want to play games, buy yourself a console or PC; thats how you play games. I use my phone to read email, news, stay in contact with friends, even edit documents on the go. I dont hold anything against anyone; the only reason why I said what I said earlier was because the guy did something similar to comparing a car with a motorcycle to figure out which was the better "car". The iPod is a music player; those of use who would want to do something more "professional" would prefer the Note over the iPod.

Seriously do you need a computer if you have that thingy? Lets give it a name...a tabphone pretty much. I am sure when they come to the US the US carries the likes of Sprint Verizon and AT&T and the "old navy" t-mobile will require that the phone feature be taken away as this this tabphone will eat all their profits of all the other phones in the store...so selling it as a premier tab to make as much from it maybe more feasible as profits are more important than customers in the US.

I currently own an HTC Desire HD with a 4.3" screen. As the overall device is quite neat, I suspect that the Galaxy Note 5.3" would make a comfortable phone without appearing over-the-top. As my ideal is to have an Andoid phone with tablet-like screen, the Galaxy Note would be perfect for me! Apple's iPhone 4S (with its brilliant features) would have been a close contender had it not been for its 'tiny' screen! I think I will simply purchase the iPad 3 when it is released early next year.

Screen is state of the art. Impressive. Phone is pretty ass. When will Samsung give up on wack ass Android. All their overlays are terrible. Sense 3.0 is the ONLY decent one they have. And you definitely don't need a screen bigger than 4.3 inches on a smartPHONE... any bigger than that is novelty... you're carrying around a big, hokey playdoh phone.
