Hmm... Definitely. Although, the initial release of DP sparked the release of a 4th generation, so that was indeed worthy of a huge party. I guess Platinum's wasn't as big since it was only the 3 game of the series. I'm sure that the release of Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver will surely have a huge party. They're the remakes of Pokemon Gold and Silver after all.

@darkmaster491 (wow when does it start to do that?) They deserve it, even thought they will be released in the spring, if they did it exactly on the 10th anniversary, it should be big. Events like this should be on T.V. When Generation 5 comes, I hope they o a whole country wide thing. Having a launch party in major cities.

It is amazing that after 10 years of Pokemon being in the USA, it's still just as popular as when it first came out. I bet some people thought that it was gonna be a "fad", well this video (And the 1st part) is evidence that Pokemon isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Yes indeed, I do believe the same thing. However, I think Pokemon is actually about 13 years old now. Hence, the 10th Anniversary Party was held in 2006.
