Also coaches keep contact with coaches like Major Applewhite (which you probably dont know who he is either) and he tells them he's at 450 on bench 650 on squat. @sharpproductionsbo Chris Baer was back in '04 though so a ring or D1 offer isn't possible. It's not impossible for Traylon to be benching that much. Small kids can bench almost 300. I just dont think geenday1 has seen much. 650 on squat? I wouldn't doubt it, he's got some leg power. That's what made Shead so good. It sucks he got buried in the roster. I hope I see him running the ball on ESPN soon.

The Straight up beast thing About Cayuga is that they won the Football State Championship AND the Basketball State Championship. Dakota Rawls at Bronte (where I'm from) unloaded on Cayuga as a Junior. 29 Points? Dunked 4 times?! Lol Cayuga still won, but it was still one of the best games I've ever seen. We lead most of the game believe it or not. But they had this freshman do work with some 3 pointers. They won in overtime. White People!!! Keepin up with the genetically superior.

He's very good, but had he played 4A or 5A ball in any tough suburban district (Dallas, Austin, Houston or SA metros) he'd of had 5,000 + less yards for his career... he'd of never started varsity as a freshman for starters... there was a considerable lack of athleticsm in the defenses he faced at 1A.

I can promise you that he is that good, he is getting a good amount of carries in camp for Texas and is looking as good as any back out there, he'll work behind Cody, Fozzy and Tre for sure.

My buddy coached against him at Teneha, he said he's not that good , he is a just a big dude that gets a lot of carries in 1A football. He looks like he's playing against the JV team in this video. He average 26 carries 10 games in 1A Malcolm Brown averaged 20 per game for 10 games in 4A. Shead might be good, but for being that big and in a run heavy offense. he should have almost 4000 in 1A. Sam McGuffie who I think was overrated as hell, had 3500 in 5A in 14 games and look where he is now..

@hvyhittah If he wasnt that good he wouldnt be playing RB at the University of Texas. In Practices this year, he's looked just as good as the other RB, and could be starting by mid season. He's been running over LB's in practice. Sam Mcguffie is Overated, Traylon Shead is not.

I douubt he'll be starting during mid season, cauase they have Chris Whaley, Cody Johnson, Jeremy Hills, Vondrell McGee, and Tre Newton who is super overrated. But I hope he lives up to the hype, cause Texas needs a down hill rb and get Newton out of there..

Sam Bradford- 3a 3 star

Mark Ingram- wasnt highly recruited...

Texas gets pretty much anyone they want, look at the players targeted by Texas, guess what they all sign with them, 1 or 2 go to OU but 99% of the time, Texas wants, Texas gets so this kid based on film is gifted regardless of competition.

Traylon is very talented he could play on any level. Congrats on beating the hell out of "Gay-nado" aka ganado ha ha they're our rivals. They played no one in pre district and ran into no bodies in the playoffs until they got to Cayuga. Thats why we beat the hell out of them 27-7 in the mustang creek shoot out. Ganado suck guys they don't like getting hit and their offense is horrible! And did I mention we beat them on their home field, oh and they are very scared to hit!
