When I play this game with the Gens emulator it doesn't save any of my progress but when I play this game on the Fusion emulator it saves progress automatically. Can someone show me how to save progress with the Gens emulator?

I think the final was a lot lower score than yours. 28-0 or something because we would play more defensive, taking it up for a shot and then passing all the way down the court, haha. Not for me, I was and still am a huge fan of Olajuwon/Thorpe. It would only make since they were the best on the game, since they won the nba championship the year the game came out. Also, they're the last team you have to defeat to beat the game.

Hmm I play using the LA Clippers on Very Hard, I go solo and I practice long shots from the other end of the court (beyond half-court), and so far the results are pretty satisfying.
This strategy, although good, does NOT work in the real game (arcade NBA JAm TE).
When you are on fire, you AND your teamate are limited to 5 baskets, then you lose your fire. So if you did this in the arcade, the 3-point shooter would make the the teamate OFF fire. Not to mention the computers are not retarded and each cover their man regardless if they are going for dunks or not.
You could never shut out the CPU on the arcade on hard with quick hands and max power, I guarantee it!

actually we used sega and put the difficulty on very hard, with the computer using secret characters and powerups, because we beat every team. We could easily do that on the arcade, they dont use the hardest difficulty. We would have to beat every team first to get the computer to use secret characters and powerups. Well in the arcade version, there is an option in the service menu. "Computer make the game equal" or something like this. So u can't get more than a certain amount of lead. For the factory settings it's "on".

i once beat the heat 100-0 with the hornets, but it was only on normal mode (no cheats and tournament mode on, of course). i play by myself so i have a real hard time shutting out the computer since my CPU partner doesn't do shi.
I feel I could do better with a HUMAN partner who knows the importance of aggressively shoving the other dudes, blocking shots, and drawing in the D on a fake dunk to leave the other guy wide open for a three.

man this is my fav sports game of all time. playing as the clintons, will smith and even the makers of the game or mascots was fun. the dunks were the best. i should be in the guiness book of world records because i once scored 230 points with scottie pippen in this game. i look back and dont know how i did it.
The only way to score 230 is to expand the time for the game. Good shit though. Our goal though is to keep everything within the guidlines. The only change we make is switching it from normal to expert. And importantly only play tournament mode so we don't have any advantages. Now if you can score 100 points without allowing the computer to score I will tip my cap. Because plainly NO ONE else has can do this. People try but don't have the skill.
oh yeah man i give u big props for that cuz i could never do it. lol. what i did was put the game on juice mode, comp on normal, and i took the tag mode off so i only controlled scottie and not bj. i had 44 steals and hit a ton of 3's. this was back in 1996. i recently hit like 190. 230 is so far out of reach. i wrote it down though.
guys you still didn't answer my question: how do you shove the computer to the floor when the computer is on max power? when i try, the computer budges a little bit but doesn't fall to the floor.
shoving opponents to the floor is a huge part of my game, but when the CPU has the max power cheat on, i can't do it for some reason (on the super nintendo version). you gotta teach me how, man cuz you guys do it as easily as if the max power cheat is OFF.
This is a bunch of bullshit. You're playing against otis thorpe and some guy who has 1's for everything. Just look at halftime. And there have to be cheats on because larry johnson and alonzo mourning are not that good at threes. Seems like all you shoot. They're hitting about every one even when they're not on fire. Hiphop guy, take a look at the start of the game. At the beginning of the game it shows the computer receieving Max Power and Quick hands. And we dont recieve any power ups. So there u go!

actually we used sega and put the difficulty on very hard, with the computer using secret characters and powerups, because we beat every team. We could easily do that on the arcade, they dont use the hardest difficulty. We would have to beat every team first to get the computer to use secret characters and powerups. plus its a known fact that ther is a system in nba jam and all the other jam type games that prevent blow outs and thats computer assistance.if turned off, any1 can blowout any1.but since i didn't see ''computer assistance turned off'' at tip off its still on meaning its nearly no way to blow then out

One more thing, when it says max power that means when the computer pushes us its max power, and your basically guarenteed to turn it over. We're so quick they barely push us at all. I can understand why you think its fake though. I'm sure there arent many people on the entire planet that can do what we can.

haha. The haters never stop. Once we reunite to play again which hasn't been for years we will film starting from the menu screen to show all of you haters that we used tournament mode, which you cannot use any cheats, and that it is on extra hard cpu difficulty.
You will also see that the cpu has powerups because thats what happens after you beat every team, even in tournament mode. People keep hating!! I enjoy the laughs. When people don't believe it I love it because it is that hard to do!

Well in the arcade version, there is an option in the service menu. "Computer make the game equal" or something like this. So u can't get more than a certain amount of lead. For the factory settings it's "on".

I truly think no one will ever accomplish what Bennyla and myself have done. It takes to many skill sets within the game for the perfect game. I can answer your questions but and try to help you, but i sincerely doubt anyone can score "100" points while holding the computer to "0" points. Meanwhile my friend and I can do it over and over again. Please try and prove me wrong! Until then enjoy our video and I promise a new one will be up soon.

i once beat the heat 100-0 with the hornets, but it was only on normal mode (no cheats and tournament mode on, of course). i play by myself so i have a real hard time shutting out the computer since my CPU partner doesn't do shi.
I feel I could do better with a HUMAN partner who knows the importance of aggressively shoving the other dudes, blocking shots, and drawing in the D on a fake dunk to leave the other guy wide open for a three.

man this is my fav sports game of all time. playing as the clintons, will smith and even the makers of the game or mascots was fun. the dunks were the best. i should be in the guiness book of world records because i once scored 230 points with scottie pippen in this game. i look back and dont know how i did it.

The only way to score 230 is to expand the time for the game. Good shit though. Our goal though is to keep everything within the guidlines. The only change we make is switching it from normal to expert. And importantly only play tournament mode so we don't have any advantages. Now if you can score 100 points without allowing the computer to score I will tip my cap. Because plainly NO ONE else has can do this. People try but don't have the skill.

oh yeah man i give u big props for that cuz i could never do it. lol. what i did was put the game on juice mode, comp on normal, and i took the tag mode off so i only controlled scottie and not bj. i had 44 steals and hit a ton of 3's. this was back in 1996. i recently hit like 190. 230 is so far out of reach. i wrote it down though.

shoving opponents to the floor is a huge part of my game, but when the CPU has the max power cheat on, i can't do it for some reason (on the super nintendo version). you gotta teach me how, man cuz you guys do it as easily as if the max power cheat is OFF.

This is a bunch of bullshit. You're playing against otis thorpe and some guy who has 1's for everything. Just look at halftime. And there have to be cheats on because larry johnson and alonzo mourning are not that good at threes. Seems like all you shoot. They're hitting about every one even when they're not on fire. Just look at how slow the white guy is running in this game. It's clearly bullshit. TE is way better than the original, too. Only thing better in original is backboard breaking. FTW

its on genensis. And i guess we started taping to far into in order to see tournament addition. Dont worry though. On our next video or video's we will make sure we show you guys all the steps until we play. But i still have no idea when i will go back to buffolo.

it's weird because i think your tape starts early enough and i have never seen the computer use cheats in tournament mode.....i think the "no cheats" rule includes the computer. but i'm seriously not trying to hate, just trying to get the record straight. you guys have game, our best is around 74-14, so one day we might be able to step to you. i'm guessing the dual fires is 3 in a row + 10 in a row from the other dude? anyhoo, looking forward to the new videos.

when you start out a game in tournament mode right before tip off it says something along the lines of "tournament mode,no power ups,special moves or cheats" to notify you what mode your playing in......Im sorry but i didnt see that here

And for the haters who still thing its not official. Check out when we sign in and it extends the rosters. That means were in tournament mode and cheats codes are impossible to use.
