@Zantman2 I know it's been three weeks, but I can't let this pass by... Persona uses the demon's from Shin Megami Tensei, not the other way around. Persona / Digital Devil Saga / Devil Summoner / Devil Survivor are spin-offs.

@Axelander9999 Yes it is if not a better or more unique battle system. Its much easier to control/avoid death in digital devil saga and such mainly because you dont get a gameover when your main dies.

Amazon has had this game new for pretty cheap in the past year, so I'd recommend checking amazon every now and again if you want this game. It doesn't have the music cd sadly, but you get a copy of a great game at least haha.

i thought that persona story lines were put together better and like devil summoner didnt enjoy the story line much same with digital devil saga plus personas gameplay was better than devil summoner and digital devil but i havent played this game yet

Well like most people I started with a persona game but not Im looking into other games from atlus. The more origonal ATLUS games are also pleasing to my eye ^-^ Maybe Ill try them when Im done persona! Can somebody tell me the story line of the origonal shin megamis'? I see that alot of the personas are the same even though they are demons in the origonals. But all I know about the game so far is the gameplay videos ive watched.

i like this game, but "skill inherit system" (i dont know how to say it in english) is really suck. i dont need conversation skills or weak magic skills anymore...

anyway, i cant recomend this game people who cant waste much time.

megami tensei 1 (1987) of family computer game (not remake one) was really hard because it didnt have mapping system. you have to write the map by yourself, and the map was very complicated.

if you have a chance, try it.

More or less, my problem stems from people just knowing Persona 4. If it was your first game, whatever, but those are demons from Nocturne, not personae from Persona 4. Nocturne came before P4, anyways.

They are from Shin Megami Tensei 1 for the SNES. They appear in this game and persona 4. also they are bad guys in about every other SMT game other than P3 and P4

Hitoshura is the Japanese name for the character when he appears as an optional boss (a ridiculously hard one at that) in Digital Devil Saga 1. In English his name is Demi-Fiend.

I actually got mine on Ebay...I was lucky to get in on it when no one else was bidding on it. Got mine for like 37.00 and it was in perfect condition...no scratches at all, plus I got the original case and manual, but no music cd.

I had a rape team, level 105(he keeps leveling even though it shows a cap.) hero w/ Masakados Magatama, level 102 Dante, level 99 pixie and a level 100 Mada. We fought and blindsided rapes Lucifer, granted the three were buffers and the hero was the attacker, most damage I got with one hit was 8,000.
