  • "...which by a strange coincidence, happens to be exactly the amount of my legal fees" ...lol

  • That's Doc Adams from Gunsmoke playing Douglas! Can tell it's him. :)

  • This movie created in me the standards I require in an American President. I have been sadly disappointed. We haven't had a Pres with both honor AND gumption since JFK went to Dallas.

What a bunch of losers. {Yes, I include Reagan on the crap list. In fact, he's numero uno}.

Our present White House occupant is a disaster for everyone [except Islam].

  • I suggest visiting Lincoln's boyhood home in southern Indiana where his mother is buried. The local high school can be seen from the site of his home's foundation. So Abe, who walked tens of miles to borrow a book, could have come home for lunch from that high school -- if it had existed.

  • I always like the part where Abe questions Jack Cass on the witness stand very very funny, if you have it please post it " Well we'll just call ya Jack Cass" too funny

  • Thanks for the posting. I saw this on BBC tv ;without commercials;. when I was about 10yrs old and loved it.

If You like Fonda in this, try "The Grapes of Wrath'.

  • i wish this was on itunes..ive wanted to d-l this movie forever - looks brilliant!

  • I just love this movie ! Could you put it all up? If not it's okay. Just a great movie and thanks for sharing what you can.

  • If you like this you might love Henry Fonda in Sergeant York?

  • hiiam: Fonda wasn't in Sergeant York. That was Gary Cooper.

  • Thanks for the correction.

  • hiiam: No problem. But the two films do look similar in tone. [aside from the 'war' aspect ;)]

  • Abraham Lincoln: An American Hero whose greatness has withstood the test of time.

  • I too wish he were here, he sounds like a very interesting man, and I'm sure a nice one too!

    -Very sorry

  • Great movie!

    My father loved Lincoln.

He studied and read all about him.

    I miss my dad!

    George V. Hill (1931-2007)

    Wish you were here dad!!

    Your son,

    George.
