If you get Aghanim as a techies, you can cast range on remote mines gets really extended, so when you see enemy heroes pushing, you can mine the lane right under their feet from far away on the cliff or from the safe position in the forest, and each mine will deal 750 magic damage. Unless its 70th minute and everyone's farmed as hell, you'll still do your job - stop the push and damage enemy heroes. Also make them a little bit paranoid :p

don't like it... for me the best skill build 1. land mine 2. stats 3. land mine 4.stats 5.land mine 6.remote mine 7.land mine. etc....after i cant choose ++ i choose 1st level suicide and later max statis trap... when i play techies i m always top or one of the top level heroes in the game and this skill build allowed to play *battle* techies...kill enemies not only by mines..but vs your own hits and etc... middle stat in the end of the game (10-20)/(0-5)/(X-X) - 200(300)+/20-100 smth like this.

@gigabaitnik nah, it's good to have stasis set at level 3, 5 or 7.. just then just max out land, suicides, and remotes first. stats over stasis leveling is up to you. But stasis should lvl 1 should be with in the levels i listed because you can use them as wards and defending the towers for a bit when you are forced to go back.

Love tech :) 2 more use of euls:) cyclone enemy and put wards above them and w8 for stun but you need fast fingers and one more...if you are going to die use cyclone and cast sucide above you and after cyclone u auto cast suicide with out maintance :)

Btw i suggest with tech to place stasis traps in wood part and in lines

because after one stun is over they will might go for other stun as well if the path i narrow...u just need look out so u dont activate both traps at same time :)

If you see the other team pick Int/Agil heroes for their lineup, perhaps you may want to go try and grab a Techie suicide first blood. Which means the first skill point is added to Suicide, then buy a Boots of Speed.

You may skip the Arcane Ring and just buy mana potions, better if the same lane with KoTL who can Chakra you (btw, KoTL + Techie = lane domination = enemy's first tower down very fast). Get a Void Ring fast, then once you get BoT/Remote mines, money will roll in like crazy.

A nasty combo would be to plant a shit load of mines and the stun at the top of a hill

Then lure 2-3 heroes up to trigger it

To really dish out some damage u can combine it with some remote mines and top it with a suicide....

300 damg x7=2100+600 x 2=3300 + sui = 4850 damage (add more mines/remotes=owned)

good techie can normally get aghanim at lvl 11-13, then your remotes does 600 dmg - at lvl 11 that means 2 remotes = end for any agi/int based hero, 3 for str, with casting range over 1000 you can plant them right under your enemies so they cant do anything even with gem.

Extra Tips for you guys who wanna learn Techies real good since I'm a techie user myself, I've been finding ways to own using him.

1: Use your Ulti as SpyWards. It only costs a few mana but its worth it cause it prevents your team from FEEDING due to gangbang.

2:Hide your bombs in Tree Leaves. But dont do it in creep paths cause they will auto atack if the enemy has a GEM. They wont see it without the creeps due to it being hidden to the naked eye.

Actually the best way to play techie is aganim, then you will farm more than anyone in the game, because your ulti will take the hole lane, and in fact it gives you such a long race for laying the ulti, that you can stay in fog of war plant + insta detonate and it will give 750 dmg in HUGE aoe due to the aganim, my friends know me for being the best techie they seen, no bragging just superior tactics, ps : i beat mortred :)

There is a great trick with remote mines.. Place 6-7 (1lvl) 5-6 (2lvl) 4-5(3lvl) near Roshan. When enemy heroes come dont detonate. Wait untill Roshan has around 750HP. Then detonate all mines. This will not only kill their entire team but also will claim Roshan for you ( +350gold) and 200 more to each of the team.

P.S It is very likely that at least one player of the enemy team leaves.
