Ummmm, ever heard of the "cat 'o' nine tails" or just the cat. It was the preferred method of discipline. It was a whip with 9 lashes. A strong man could survive 20 lashes, maybe a little more but generally 50 was a death sentence, even if you survived the shock and blood loss generally you were dead from a secondary infection soon after. And fyi, I like Aqua because the girl is sexy and the music is ok.
