Thank you, its always nice to get free good advice. Ive been suffering from gerd now for a year with alot of esophagitis. I am using dgl licorice and ginger root capsules which still unsure of benefits due to the severity of my symptoms. I have also been braving the braggs ACV, yuck, although i did not know it is best used after esophagitis healing? Ive also tried many PPI's, ommeprazole, prevacid and now on dexilant. My body feels so out of whack and would love to ditch the ppi's asap. Also to
I notice that you said it needs to be healed first before using ACV. Do you mind to tell me what to take to heal it? (still can't find Licorice root)
Also, I've heard often that we are supposed to use the RAW ORGANIC ACV only. I bought the normal filtered ACV from Heinz and so far so good for me. But who knows for the long term. Is it really different for the result?
(Sorry if I asked in 2 posts there is a limit on the characters typed)
Hi, Nausea and sharp pains in chest may be gastritis but you should also have it checked out to rule out heart conditions. Since I don't know your age or sex, I cannot say based on demographics the most likely cause of the symptoms. ACV can worsen reflux or heartburn and gastritis if they are not healed prior to starting. Try some licorice root and see if that helps the pain and burning. If it continues, get your doctor to check it out. Once healed the ACV will keep the symptoms from coming back
I am 25 & male. I don't have any short of breath, fatigue, sweating. So I guess not a heart cond?
I am still using ACV til now. Seems that whenever I'm having the symptoms (heartburn, nausea, etc), it gets better by drink ACV. Not that I'm questioning u,but I'm confused whether this will heal me (coz it relieves whenever I use to the symptoms) or it would worsen my condition in the long term (just like u said).
@frdhyo At this point, I don't really think that it will worsen your condition because your symptoms seem to improve with the ACV. I would continue on it and in about a month or so it will no longer be necessary. It is uncertain for some when, exactly they can do acv, for you, it seems that now is fine. Might consider Raw Manuka honey also, it works well for GERD. I've not tried cayenne pepper so I'm not the one to ask about that for GERD, sorry. Good luck!
Dr. Wang, I noticed you said we should use Apple cider vinegar only if we have no active gastritis/ulceration.
If having nausea, and sharp pain on my chest. Are these gastritis? I have been using the Apple Cider Vinegar for few days. Now, I don't have sour taste anymore. but still have the sharp pain & burning sensation on stom. on and off during the day.
Will it worsen my condition to use ACV?Or should I expect weeks to be better? Any advice? Also, what about cayenne pepper?
Wow this women is awesome. I am afraid to do the apple cider vinegar because I have esophageal inflammation. Do I wait for it to heal and then do the ACV or do I do it know. I don't want to further damage my esophogus. Would really appreciate the advice. .
Good fresh is good for you, yes. Poor posture is now considered a culprit of GERD. Why not. Poop posture is physically compressing the digestive system. It is depressing as well. Both the emotional and physical problems cause GERD. I've lengthened my spine and whole body. An offshoot to this is that my GERD has become nearly none existent.
Hi, I am quite desperate, I've had gastritis or ulcer for 4 months now. It all started from alchohol, now that i quit, it's still getting worse. I'm just hoping to find something to relieve the inflammation so it can get better. I'm on rantidine and chinese herbs, but they seem ineffective. Any advice is very welcome.
@ryanmse30 . Has your Gerd cleared up. I have Gerd and am eating really small meals every two to three hours instead of 3 big meals. drinking aloe vera to heal the esophogus. Love to know if your Gerd is still acting up. If not did you try the apple cider vinegar before meal. Thanks.
ok..Ive been diagnosed with Los Angels A and some of doctors said its becouse of GERD,,,, i feel constant pain in cheast and soar throat,,iam 23 and i suffer from that 1 year,, if that was from GERD sould i have times during the day with less pain and bigger?.ipp,controlox40 doest heal me,,the pain remains the smae after 8 weeks... iam probably A blood type? do you think it has god a real meaning in digestion and with this desiese?
First of all thank you for your post, I have a question if you dont mind, a doctor told me to take prilosec otc, and so iv'e been taking 2 20 mg tablets once a day for about a year now. Is this safe? the box says not to take it for more than 2 weeks at a time any input helps. Thanks again
didn't work for me. anyone can point to something else? apple cider made my symptoms worse, maybe I didn't try it long enough? rebound from the meds might be causing me a problem with acid, but surely there must be something more then apple cider, I can get reflux from Oatmeal, even drinking water.
Apple Cider Vinegar is truly amazing. I have had strange symptoms for many years and my Dr. Convinced me I was just stressed. Then I tried Apple Cider Vinegar 1Tbs, with water and honey. Even my joint pain started to go away and other strange symptoms. Thank you Dr. Your kindness and care come through in your videos.

Tom, I would wait to do the apple cider vinegar until your esophagus heals a bit. Usually takes a week or so, then do the ACV.
