  • LOL it was actually funny xD

  • Gonna find something green in there. Oh, just kids with their vidya games (that are being played by themselves apparently). Giant green flashing AMD logo. Well then.

  • 1:05

No you never do that, God dammit.

  • TmarTn?

  • In general, that is

  • say that to bulldozer amd.

  • AMD processors are green.

  • Dozer again ?? It's a third time this week

  • Well you know, each have their ups and downs.

    ATI :

    Run Hotter, but power efficient.

    Nvidia:

    Run cooler, but power hungry.

    PhysX

  • @FluffyFooFookins i think, you got it all mixed up

  • @FluffyFooFookins Not really. This is how it currently is:

    AMD:

Runs power efficient, cooler but louder

Nvidia: Runs hotter, less power efficient but quieter

  • only intel fanboy noobs who haven't upgraded since the 80's think AMD's are hotter

  • @madzane94 AMD processors are indeed inferior. I have yet to see an AMD processor getting close to the i5 2500k SB. Sure they're cheaper, they're still good, but good isn't enough. In terms of graphics cards though, AMD/ATI is king. Undisputed.

  • @therealdrifter92 the new AMD-FX 8 core flag ship matches and even beats the 980x in some benches and it's $300 bucks in comparison to 900 for the 980x.

  • Thank god I skipped this and bought a GTX 570 ;)

  • 1:45

HOLY FUCK THE GAMES PLAY THEMSELVES

  • well, seems like this vid is false advertising: forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=23639.msg296734#msg296734

Also, AMD Guys, I seriously hope you either learn to write proper linux drivers, or even better make the whole thing Open Source! I swore 2 years ago to myself never to buy ATI/AMD again, I broke that principle last week, just to find that I'd been way better off with nvidia, despite their current lack of computational power.

  • HAHAHAHAHA EPIC :)

  • update 276 nvidia fans got mad

  • the gameplayer move alone without player lol aimbot!!!!

  • 276 Intel HD graphics users couldn't afford a full size graphics card! :D

  • My next gpu is going to be from amd.I don;t want swat to come in my house.

  • im more of a nvidia fan myself, but this video is so perfect

  • Ironically, this just happened. A guy was busted for running 4 quad gpu computers for suspected pot growing.

Funny part is that they found something red in there, not green.

  • @johnaiton found out the dumass was growing oregino

  • @johnaiton And the fun part: they take your shit anyway. So next year when he gets his rigs back, they will be completely outdated and any private info will be owned by the state.

  • @johnaiton Yeah, few days ago someone was busted for suspected pot growth too. He was running 5 rigs with a few radeons in there mining bitcoins.

  • @johnaiton So they found 4 EVGA GTX 570s?

  • @johnaiton Seriously? Well I guess he ran the red stuff to mine BitCoins... Nvidia just sucks at those calculations...

But I bet the cops felt stupid when they realized what they captured, but also a scary scenario for the future.

  • @CMDRSweeper Yeah, it was a bunch of 5970's.

Power companies have an automatic flag system for power consumption, it's routine to inform the police in America when power is flagged.

God help the guy who runs 4 bulldozers.. the army will come after him

  • @johnaiton If someone ran quad fermis he would be in jail for causing forest fires and you know it. :p

  • ATI can't say anything against fermi as their 6990 runs hotter than the GTX590, with less performance to boot... I've owned both ATI and nvidia went from a Geforce mx 400 to a radeon HD4670, then to a GTX460 and now a GTX480 and i can say i prefer nvidia due to the drivers being much better.

  • @maxkillz2 Humongous troll or never used HDMI.

  • "I bet we're gonna find something green in there" ...hehe cheeky input there eh AMD :)

  • Why are the games playing by themselves? The views are identical too.

  • @iLoveEatingPie obvious aimbotter

  • My AMD quad core gaming PC with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 idles at only 68 watts. That's not as much power draw as this video makes it out to be. The new Nvidia cards are Very power efficient.

  • @TheMacGeek You're bad. Watts =/= temperature celsius. /sigh

  • @phoenix7289 I obviously know watts doesn't equal temperature Celsius. I build and fix PC's. My MSI N460GTX Twin Frozr II idles at 31 degrees Celsius, and maxes out at 60 Celsius using MSI Kombustor, and that's overclocked to 850MHz Core clock, 1700MHz Shader Clock, and 2047MHz Memory Clock. The latest Nvidia cards that are out now do not run as hot as this video makes them out to run. It is a funny video though...

  • @phoenix7289 actually watt = power = energy/time. energy -> temperature. amirite? thermodynamics!

  • i have 2 nvidia GTX 580s, could not be happier, but his is true to a degree, i had to keep the air conditioner on in the winter to prevent my room from reaching 80 degrees F

  • @MrElmobn well that video has been created when GTX460 were present.

Those fermi cards were even much hotter.

  • I currently have two GTX 465s in SLI lol. Possibly nVidia's worst card, in terms of heat output and energy consumption. I sincerely regret it. But I get the performance of a 480/580, and both card were quite cheap so I'll stop complaining.

  • Somebody call 911 Fermi fire burning on the dance floor Whoa I gotta cool it down Fermi won't bring the roof to ground on the dance floor Whoa Fermi's fire burning, fire burning on the dance floor That little Fermi’s fire burning on the dance floor Fermi's fire burning fire burning on the dance floor That little Fermi’s fire burning on the dance floor Fire burning fermi burning
  • 1.7 WOODSCREWS PORK SHOULDERS

  • GTX590 wwwwww

  • lol, this is a fail. Radeon 6870 runs at around 85-87C load temps. thats about as bad as it gets for a desk top card to be running at a Mobile GPU's temps.

  • @Nomad2243 This video was made last year when the 5xxx were much cooler than Nvidia 4xx, right now the 6xxx series and the 5xx series give about the same heat with their reference coolers.

  • @Unterschiedliche

I have a question, unrelated to your response (Which is somewhat true) why did you uses X's instead of 0's?

  • @Nomad2243 I don't have a scientific response for that but I just find using Xs more suitable, just a personal preference, I have no idea if there is a difference between them.

  • @Unterschiedliche

But a card like the GTX 460 from the 400 line was very cool and power efficient. GTX 460 was around 70C load temp depending on the model. some GTX 460's got as low as 56C load temps, some as high as 81, depends on cooling design.

GTX 480 got to 84-93C load temp, Radeon 5870 got to 86C temp.

  • @Nomad2243 Like I said, it depends on which cooler is installed on it, if for example they were using the MSI dual fan cooler with that 460, it would give much less heat than the same card with reference cooler.

But overall the Radeon 5xxx with reference coolers were better than Fermi 4xx "heat-wise", it also depends on the ambient temps, the air flow in the case used, overclocked or not, the speed of the fan and plenty of other stuff too.

  • anything but a ATI Radeon? Bitches don't know bout my 3DFX.

  • FERMI BURNIN ON THE DANCE FLOOR

  • ...I think we gonna find something "Green" in there...

  • sigh, never understood this AMD/ATi bad drivers myth. Having owned both nVidia and ATi cards - drivers of both the companies are equally good in Windows and have given me equal troubles. You can however complain about Crossfire profiles. If you really want to complain about AMD/ATi developing bad drivers, then it's only for Linux. nVidia proprietary driver works like a charm in Linux, but Catalyst/fgrlx doesn't.

  • Nvidia fucking the 266 persons

  • This is funny considering my 6970 runs hotter than a GTX580

  • so what they've basically said there is that they can create a device that keeps cool. good I'll keep my ice cream on an ATi while playing cutting edge tech games on a real gfx card lol.

do you really compare Havoc to PhysX?

What's next? that's just bulling and not fair towards the "troll physics" which is havoc.

untill ATi wont take themselves seriously and do exactly what nvda did and dedicate a PPU on their cards i cant really take them as a serious choice for my computer makeup.

    HAHA FAIL!

  • @starkestal

you honestly have no idea about anything mate. Cards should be compared according to their raw power, power consumption, tessellation and temperatures. nVidia wins with GTX 5xx series. But things like PhysX are all gimmicks. You turn on PhysX while playing Mafia 2, frame rates drop from 50 to 20 in my nVidia GTX 560 because the card is processing PhysX code too. Havoc is neutral to everyone as it runs on CPU. PhysX is nVidia proprietary whereas Havoc is neutral to all.

  • So funny... Good job AMD

  • nvidia got proper fucked

  • I have been converted to an Nvidia user after owned 2 god awful 5970s and 2 different 890FX chipset motherboard full of problems. I tried to rule out all the issues like PSU and Ram but came back fine. So yeah, AMD Radeon is garbage, their Partner selection is beyond awful and their drivers are made by confused employees after a long night of drinking steel reserves.

  • when they begin to make reliable cards i would buy one. but untill, i will stick with nvidia. the most of my friends have ATI cards and few have nvidia, but the point is that the ATI guys are complaning about the drivers screwing up. and one of my ATI friends bough a dead ATI from Asus. IT WAS BOUGHT FUCKING DEAD!!! nvidia makes quality product. they should begin to do the same...

  • @ibanice100 its not ATi fault that the card was dead hes mistake was buying it from asus, nothing against asus, i love them by the way they make mobos like nobody else does but anyway when it comes to graphics thats another story asus needs help in that department, but just cause your friends card came dead, ATi did not manufactured that card asus did with ATi chipset, there a diffrence there it wasnt ati mistake you cant blame them, next time buy a diffrent manufacture card like XFX, MSI, GL

  • thats why im runnin a nvidia north bridge gpu, with an AMD processor

  • You AMD?

  • Nvidia fan right here, XD that was funny

  • all the nvidia boys say now, the 6790 can,t even beat a 580 er what else.

but the thing is wat you gonna get for your money ;) and than beats amd nvidia :D.

  • 6970 cant beat shit.

cant even beat a 570 ffs

  • @mrRocstar96 The 6970 isn't made to rival the 570. The 6990 which is coming out will kick it's ass from here to Hong Kong.

  • @yomamma186 So it takes two GPUs to beat a 580? pfft

  • @yomamma186 The 6990 will beat the GTX 580 easily... The 580 can't even keep up with the old 5970.

  • @PowerPie5000 in what? benchmarks? amd drivers are bs

  • @mrRocstar96 Yes, in real world benchmarks. AMD/ATI have had driver issues in the past but their drivers seem to be pretty good these days... They went through a bad spell releasing poor drivers so now everyone seems to think they always release bad drivers which is not the case (they just can't let go of the past). Nvidia have also released many crap drivers in the past and present but it doesn't mean all their drivers are bad. I really wish people weren't so narrow sighted and one sided.

  • @PowerPie5000 ok you win

  • @mrRocstar96 Both the 6970 and GTX 570 are pretty much equal in terms of performance while the 6970 uses less power (it's more efficient)... The older Radeon 5970 wipes the floor with both of them including the GTX 580.

  • problem nvidia?

  • Love the video :D

    A response xD :D

  • I bet we're gonna find some green in there.

    I lol'ed. :D

  • 1:39 cod 4 low fps

  • @redcm000 1:43 cod 4 smooth

    dumb shit

  • Hee hee

  • It's funny because the 6970 consumes more power and runs hotter than the GTX 570

  • @phaquetoob lol its funny cause i have a 6970 and it doesnt run hot at all hmmm something tells me you dont have one so you dont know

  • @phaquetoob is that so ? dont tell bullshit cause your wrong ! see ww w. anandtech .co m/show/4061/amds-radeon-hd-6970-radeon-hd-6950/24

and see by yourself with your false claims. bye bye nvidia

  • 5870 Vapor-X OC edition FTW (must be the on the top 3 of 5870´s.)

  • LOL

Just one problem: why were the characters still moving when the players were on the ground?

  • They needed two whole minutes to say that fermi is hot?

  • cool , cant wait for nvidia to counter this video with their own thing against amd

  • "I bet we're going to find something green in there." HAHAHAHA.

I actually thought this would be lame, but it's actually very well done and on the spot.

Both companies have some pretty solid GPU's out there. Whatever you choose, you can't go wrong.

  • If just AMD would stop being blind and realize that Linux is the future..

  • It's funny cause Fermi beat the AMD series in sales by far :DDDDD

  • Funny because its true.

  • fuck the police, fuck swat team paramilitary bullshit

  • Hoooooly effin sheeeet! Absolutely hilarious XDDD

  • Look at all u children arguing seriously WTF get a life. I've owned many ati and nvidia cards and I think both companies are great I just buy whatever product is the best for me at that moment.

  • "I bet we're going to find something green in there"

    Great double meaning there.

  • i think those amd guys are green themselves,

cos finally they are saving some energy.

so it should`nt be SWAT it should be ESGG

    (energy saving green guys)

  • if AMD made some good drivers then i might go back to them but they suck.....

    NVIDIA FTW!!!!!!!!

  • @duffmanw Wasn't it just a few months ago everyone was bitching about nvidia drivers LOL

    I swear...

  • i don't know why ATI is mocking Fermi?

Faster Cards use more power and make more Heat.

1:53 ATI is no more. They went Bankrupt. another reason why they shouldn't be taking the piss out of nividia.

  • @BKsMassive WTF ATI hasn't gone bankrupt where the hell did you pull that out from? Your ass?

  • @BKsMassive Yeah what shit you chatting ati didn't go bankrupt you tard amd rebranded all their cards to amd radeon.

  • @woollster00

Yes because ATI went bankrupt. you fucking idiot.

  • @BKsMassive what dereliktryder said. You fucking moron get your facts right

  • @BKsMassive they didt went bankrupt for my knowledge O_o what are you talking about? any resource to this? AMD bought them back 2007 thats what i know nothing else thought

  • @woollster00

Yes, if they would use your name

  • @StevensiTX i don't even?

  • Comment removed

  • finally amd creates a funny commercial, although it isn't about their CPUs. intel often creates pretty funny commercials, but the problem is they don't really say much about their products other than saying they're the best. i'd like to see an amd cpu commercial some day, especially a tv commercial

  • AMAZING! The games kept playing even while they where lying on the floor! NVIDIA power!

  • 460 and 470 are actually pretty good in their price range. The new 580 runs pretty cool as well and is easily the best single gpu graphics card out there.

The 480 does have a lot of flaws though, like the massive fan noise and heat.. But if you watercool it, it can be a good card.. On air? Not on the stock cooler..

  • 249 Nvidia fans got mad

  • @Voikanaa Funny video! :) Well I gotta say though I like the Nvidia 5 series for my gaming purposes. This rings true with the 4 Series, other than the 460. This works though!

  • I don't want my power consumption to be twice of a normal house if I buy your card. Is that an idiot would think about this ad.

  • They need to use Blue LED fans. Blue LED fans help keep the GPU cool.

  • my gtx470 does not exceed 81c while gaming, which is very very low for a highperformance card. even the 5870 is hotter then that

  • @orkie55 But it consumes significantly more power.

  • @RSProjectX And..? :p u wont buy any of these cards and put into a HTPC , right? if you are building a gaming pc, u sure wont cheap out on the powersupply unless ur stupid :P

  • @orkie55 Naah. I cheap out on my electricity bill and I hate noise since I have very sensitive ears.

  • @RSProjectX Do u really think a graphic card have any influense on your electricity bill? :D I whonder what kind of world u gotta be living in to actually think it would have any noticeable impact on the bill at all.

Sensitive ears? Let me tell you this, i happend to own a gtx470 right now, and its so quiet i cant barely hear it. Sometimes i whonder if the computer is actually on or off. My old gts250 made more noise in IDLE then my gtx470 does in Games.

  • @orkie55 Umm yeah the difference between operating costs if you use your computer a lot like I do can easily be $50+ a year. I don't want a card that's chugging power. More energy consumption = more heat = either higher temperatures or louder.

  • @RSProjectX do you have any facts to support ur 50$ theory more then just, imagination? :)

Also, more power consumption does not only mean more heat... just look at some of the AMD/ATI cards, where they have lower power usage, but still the same heat produced as a gtx460 and 470 which is, more power hungry.

  • @orkie55 Lower temp is probably just because cooler is better, not because card produces less heat Yes. I have facts. The electricity costs where I live are about 20 cents per kWh. If my computer is on load for about 4 hours a day, the difference between a Radeon 5970 and GTX 480 is $32 a year (110W x 4 x 365 / 1000 x 0.2 ). Add on idle time and it's around $40-50. To be fair, the figure is closer to $30 in most cases, such as GTX 470 vs HD 6870, GTX 460 vs HD 6850.

  • @orkie55 Hah, Cognitive Dissonance! :o)

  • Yeah, it's AMD now

  • My friend just replaced his 5870 for a 295, and he's getting higher frames per second now, lmao. Sad, but true.

    Suck it fanboys.

  • My 460 doesn't ever go above 62C in furmark. This video is silly bullshit.

  • @eatmyshitproperly this video was made before the 460 came out it is making fun of the 480 more, the 460 is much better in terms of heat and power consumption.

  • You can start making fun of Fermi when you have something with the same performance that consumes less power.

  • @nisetsu 6850 and 6870

    hurrr

  • @nisetsu You mean like a crossfire of HD 6850s?

  • @nisetsu Wish granted. AMD Radeon HD 6970.

  • O.o

    Didn't get it..

  • Quite true that Nvidia power consumption is ridiculous on any card except the GTX 460, and now that's beaten by the Radeon 68xx.

  • Hahaha that was good

One positive of Fermi though.... you cut your heating costs during winter xD

  • as a linux user

ATI ==> programming specification is open, allowing stable open source drivers

NVIDIA ==> keep their programming specification "secret" and have fucking awful propriatry drivers that could of been coded better by a retarded monkey on a typewriter

not a second of choosing for me

also NVIDIA overheats all the time

  • Is this the NEW Superbad 2>?

  • me too i have phenom II 965 4.0 ghz + msi gtx 460 and works great !

  • Good thing they weren't fapping

  • Hey, my GTX 460 (Fermi) works great, even with my six-core Phenom!

  • Comment removed

  • dude that psc r the same like a sauna

  • Yes, but can you fry eggs on your ATI GPU? No!

  • @stupidjunk978 dats tru, Nvidia wins, in the cooking department :P

  • lool nvidia suck it

  • ATI for the win

  • @Killerici ATI is dead bro

  • btw my computer costs $300 to $350 a yr IF its on 24/7 ,its a 3.8ghz quad core amd 965 be witgha ati 5770. $300-$400 aint gonna make a differnce that huge on a graph. and even if its using nvidia if u use it like 12-14 hrs a day thats about $250 a yr. my dual monitor was rated as bad in eneergy efficency and that price is also in the $250.plus the games on the screen were videos. the people or characters were moving....but great video.gave me a smile

  • "Oh... damn, its not a meth lab its just a nvidia based computer..."

  • @kitsune72 they were looking for mary jane not tina. sheesh

  • lolcats is wut that is

  • Lol! the ppl at AMD must be looking for a fight !

Who buys an Nvidia stock card anyways? Get one of those MSI's or Asus's with the dual coolers !

  • on any other channel i wouldnt have guessed the ending but on this one for some reason i did

  • Loving it :-)

  • 241 people rated this video down cause they dont need to heat their house anymore

  • I don't see what ATi is so proud of. The 2 or 3 series of their cards were fucking failures.

  • @luanswan2002 AMD has 90% of the DX11 market. Not to mention most DX11 games coming out in the next year or two will have been developed on AMD DX11 cards simply because Nvidia was so damn late to market. And now Nvidia is being lapped again.

  • That was hilarious i laughed so hard i nearly choked that was so funny. like comment fave ^_^

  • good for them FanATics, 3dfx FTW rofl.

Я больше фанат АМД, их карты всеже в сотни раз лучше чем у говно-НВидии!

з.ы. а кто против - пусть убьется об стену!

  • Haha. This is an epic win. But I admit that the GTX 470 and GTX 460 are highly competitive at the moment.

  • FERMI BURNIN UP THE PARTY ON THE MAINBOARD

  • lol to far

  • I am an nVidia fanboy all the way, but this shit was great :). I can take a good joke, fermi ftw.

  • HD 6870 & GTX 580 out for Christmas

  • The commercial could've been great if they made it much more sharp and punchy, the presentation part carried on too long, the guy slurping in the cup wasn't funny, and the music and montage of the swat guys was far too cliche, not to mention dragged on for about 5-6 seconds than it should've.

  • HAHAHA ROFLPWNT

Very clever, even though i still <3 nvidia
