Final mix has many more things. For instance you can fight the entire organization if you want to, you can fight terra, you can fight roxas. And there are new abilities , limits, and keyblades. Final mix also has a secret endings which show the beginning of birth by sleep.

They decided to tweak a couple of things in the game. For one, the contrast in final mix is lighter and the lengths of certain things Re shorter. And of course there are new cutscenes, bosses and weapons like everyone says. I love it and so want to get it.

@JustinPlayz Lol not really. The Oblivion doesnt mean anything its just a weapon (except in this scene, which means Xion.) And the Oathkeeper, to Sora, means his promise to Kairi to return to her no matter what. Hence the name OATH-KEEPER, which he got after Kairi gave him her lucky charm, which he promised to return. (Exept in this scene which to Roxas and Axel means to promise to always remember Xion.) I read the wikis to these when am bored lol.

It's also got new weapons, new cutscenes, new enemies, new bosses (+one superboss), new abilities, a new Drive Form, a new dungeon, Org. members fightable again as data-remaches (+members from CoM, like Vexen, Larxene etc.), New Game + (kinda) as you can after finishing the game return to the point right before final battle with all items, abilities etc, and collectable puzzle pieces that when organized properly give items.

@CATSDREAMS well to be honest the "original" ( which would still be japanese by the way but with slightly less content ) doesnt have as much unlockable/ usable/ cool content than the original. Basically an extension pack, but a good one. Not to mention a few added keyblades ( more powerful than ultima/ oblivion ) and a few added scenes. Not to mention better lighting and overall definition and quality. But meh, those are just the facts.

I never even knew a Final Mix exsited untill I started seeing all these videos. I am a total Kingdom Hearts fan and to learn there is a version with extra cutscenes and bosses but ONLY in Japan. If they had made it here in America I would soooo trade in my copy for the FM. I can understand people not wanting two games so simular to each other but come on, Gamestop allows you to sell or trade old games. Just swap one for the other, am I right?

When Roxas goes Dual Weilding if you pause it right you notice that Oathkeeper is darker in FM than it is in the orignial and Oblivion is a little bit lighter. in FM they are more in depth on their figure, but there are a lot of other things that are more in depths like almost everyone's hair when you look at them
