Rick Rubin is a great producer because he experiments a lot but i fear he may have gotten a little to ambitious with the gain limits on this album. I think the goal may have been to make it pop with an in your face style attack but in some stereos the result is nothing but overload .Overall though i love the album give it an low nine or a high 8 .. However i give the production a 6.

Andre Matos was also the vocalist of the best Shaman era (2000-2006)

No, I think they just parted with Bob because they wanted to move along. Artists have different producers through theire careers, it don't have to mean something special when they part with their producers. St. Anger was an expression that was right for them at that time. Then they got anothe producer, Rick Rubin, and went in another musical direction.

@1967thodoris I think TU1 is a very beatiful sad song, TU2 is not so sad but is more beautiful for me, the unforgiven 3 is cool do not looks like the 2 others because do not comes with the old style, TU3 gives a new style for TU "series". I like all the 3, the best part of the 1st is the beginning, the best part of the 1st is the solo and the riff, the 3rd has the best "pass" from the lyrics to the solo, I forgot the beginning, it's cool too, but the 2nd one sounds better for me
