Dallas was well gone by season 14, I reckon it was gone when Linda Grey left.What they should have done was re-united JR and Sue Ellen, because she became a female version of him.What they did was bring in Cally, who was weaker than the early Sue Ellen. Even though Sue Ellen was weak, she still could be a bitch. I would have loved to have seen a strong Sue Ellen and JR but heads on a regular basis, there wasn't enough of it except for Season 10(Season 11 DVD)

@alslevie1986 ....Well Season 9 with the Barbara Carrera storyline was crap, perhaps the worst season of all. Barbara was horribly miscast for her role. I have all 14 seasons on DVD and I have to say that I enjoyed the last seasons nearly as much as the earlier epiosodes.

Jessie, I only liked Pam with Mark during the season Patrick wasn't on the show. I didn't like Mark at all during seasons 5 and 6 of Dallas. I agree that this is a cute scene.

I don´t know why but Pam was with Mark somehow different than with Bobby. More relaxed and more natural. Maybe she was expected too much with Bobby. They were at the beginning the main couple, though.

Finnmove, I agree that Pam felt more natural and relaxed with Mark. I don't think that Dallas would have lasted another 5 years if Patrick wouldn't have come back to the show as Bobby. I didn't like how the writers had Pam whining soo much after she remarried Bobby in season 9 about Bobby and Jenna's baby on the way.

@FinnMove very good observation I think the reason that it was more relaxed is that Mark was not a Ewing and Bobby was...when Pam married a Ewing she married Bobby JR and their whole battle for Ewing Oil..plus less drama free living alone with Christopher lol didnt have to come to home to Sue Ellen fighing or drunk because of JR...I never got why Pam and Bobby lived away fr the ranch...they were grown adults...

kissunmasked1980. as you know I am a HUGE fan Bobby and Pam first and foremost but I did LOVE Pam and Mark during season 8 ONLY of Dallas because Patrick wasn't on the show as Bobby. I couldn't stand Mark Graison during season's 5 and 6 of Dallas.

Mark was very nice during dream season, but he was very annoying during season's 5 and 6 of Dallas. I was very happy that Patrick returned to the show as Bobby but I didn't like how Pam was written out of the show. The way Pam was written out of the show was sooo stupid.

One of the dumpest storylines in Hollywood ! I will buy Season 11 by beginning of December, and to watch that stupid line again, will be no fun ! In the other ways I like 11, but with Pam, that's Horror !
