  • I just tried this yesterday. I bought a bottle of it at VitaminShoppe, 100 capsules for $5.99. I opened a few added FOTE Aloe Vera gel, mixed well. Applied only to nose and chin to see the reaction my skin would have. It totally cleared my blackheads on my nose and left the skin very smooth. Tried it on my son's back acne also and it seems to help alot. Thanks.

  • Exacly what drugstore did you get the tablets from?

I checked several places and they didn't have anything

  • @Irunia427

I bought mine from Watsons, you can look for it at the aisle where they displayed headache medications.

  • could'nt you use a better font? why did u use such small fonts?

  • @harshagal

Sometimes during the editing it seems alright but after uploading it just shrink. Thanks for your feedback anyways. I appreciate it and I'm improving on it. =)

  • can you use the charcoal tablets that you can burn ??

  • @canelboy

It's better to use the ones from the drugstore. It has been processed and it's safe to use.

  • I just tried this but added too much water [or maybe the problem is i used charcoal capsules rather than tablets and it's less charcoal?] and the consistency was all wrong. Anyone reading this, careful how much water you add at first!

  • @seermana

Tablet are much compressed compared to the ones in capsules. Tablet ones will tend to absorb more water.

  • tracylyn, i went to a few pharmacies to buy the tablets in ipoh, but could not find. may i know which pharmacy ya bought the tablets from??

  • @yawyau

Just try looking it out from Watsons/Guardian. Look out at the aisle where they have pain killers/panadol/headache tablets.

  • @TraclynYeoh :) found it!!! thanks.. and i tried it out!!! superb... face was like detoxify!

  • @yawyau

    Glad you liked it!

  • wait.. what does the mask do again? :O

  • @candyisL0VE

Mainly, it helps to absorb excessive skin oil.

  • I loved the coco mask btw my hubby said I looked 10 years younger

  • @feath123production

Good for you! As long as it works for you, I'll be happy for you. =)

  • what brand of charcoal tablet do you use?

  • @hubbynwifey

I'm not too sure about the brand but it's just printed with Ultracarbon Charcoal at the back of the packaging and it's from Germany.

  • @TraclynYeoh aww man so hard to find tablet ones =/

  • @hubbynwifey

It's not too hard, I see it available all the time in most of my drugstores.

  • erm is it ok to use charcole from a bag used in a fire but if not i will try and ge`t `it in tabelet form

thanxs so much its so helpfull Hannah x

  • It's better to use the ones in tablet form because it has been processed. It's clean and safe to use. Charcoal tablets can be found in any local drugstores.

  • thanxs i will go and get some thanxs for the advice

  • Can you do this mask daily?

  • When I tried it, it didn't really dry, was it because of the honey or did I not use enough charcoal? I bought charcoal capsules and just emptied out the capsule. I used 2. Anyway I tried it and my skin hasn't been oily as it usually is in 6 hours. Amazing!

  • I don't use it daily as it would be too drying. Keep the routine at 2-3 times a week. That should be alright. Glad it has been working fine for you =)

  • LOL..your music choice is great for your posts! A+

  • Thank you! Stay tuned for more =)

  • what is your skin type?

and whoa, it really looks like a clay mask

  • I have oily and acne-prone skin type. This mask is more porous than clay.

  • What would Happen if I used the Same kind of Charcoal that you barbecue with? lol

  • I don't think it's advisable to use that because you don't know what kind of other materials is in it. Activated charcoal is much more safer as it has been process. Those tablets can be found in pharmacy and they are safe for consumption.

  • Wow. I never thought of using charcoal as a mask. This is great!!

By the way, can you please share a tip on making a diy toner for acne-prone skin? :)

  • Activated charcoal is very porous and they are great for absorbing excess face oil.

Well, you can try using rose water or witch hazel. Other than that you can always use 1part of apple cider vinegar mixing with 3 parts of green tea. If you have sensitive skin, use 4 parts of green tea.

  • may i know the benefits

  • This mask absorb excess oil from face just like how clay mask works but activated charcoal is more porous than clay.

  • do u have to use a charcoal tablet cause where i live we dont have a watson so can i just use a piece of charcoal r something?

  • Well, you can always look for your local pharmacy to get some. I wouldn't recommend the burning charcoal due to hygiene purposes.

  • thanks! ill try it

  • Enjoy it and let me know if you like it : )

  • ha ha so so good

  • I never see charcoal tablet in drugstore??? did you buy from watson / guardian?

  • It's available at the section where you can find headache, aspirin and etc tablets. I bought mine in Watsons.

  • ok, i'll go check it out later :) thanks

  • Thanxs can't wait to try it. Love the vid but a little hard to read the words.

  • Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to improve on it.

  • ha! amazing! although i've never seen charcoal tablets before! :(

  • Just ask for assistance when you get them. It's always in black color.

  • i m gona try it lolz
