@elpierrot17 the place has an invisible wall, it's only there because of when you enter the door, we see what's inside. Notice when you enter a door there is a transition... the different floors are different areas and opening the door cannot be skipped.

in answer to BlueStar72's question...0:54 wouldnt make a faster 0 star run because even though it its possible to BLJ through key doors, it isn't unless you've already unlocked them becuase unless you've done that the area behind the locked door doesn't load. That's why even TASer's need to beat all three bowsers, the areas dont load unless you get the keys and unlock the doors

Nope. Pretty sure that's a "Fake Room," something purely cosmetic that doesn't have a real door or staircase to the upper level. I've never been in there, but one very distinct difference is that the REAL room doesn't have a little patch in the wall you can BLJ in. You have to get the key to go to the upper levels.

its because this vid is TA. he used a tool to rerecord his gameplay. so every little mistake he made he was able to redo until everything was perfect.i think.

In this case, no. He used a tool to slow down the game, so he can time every move perfectly. Then he speeded(?) it up again so it looks normal and is entertaining to watch. (Music would´ve been awesome, nice vid anyway.)

actually with mupen(tas emulator) you record the movie and you can slow it down etc but you can also save states (eg. in front of castle)and if yoiu mess up say lakitu skip you can try from were you saved also you can playback the movie and record all records record gameplay at normal speed though

That room you see... Isn't real. The game thinks that you're in a different room, while the game's looks are only generating in that room, because the game thinks Mario is in another room.
