Marnie was made for the camera XD He's like "Yes, yes, the bunny is cute, but OOO, a camera! Wheeeee!" I have fallen in love with your bird. I almost bought myself an alexandrine parrot, had his name planned out and everything (Caspian ^_^) But then I realised how unfair it would be to the poor thing. My life is all about school and work at the moment, and he wouldn't get enough attention. My cockatiel is enough happy bird enjoyment for now :)

The produce dept has chopped vegetables in a small container, called "Salad Confetti." Contains a lot of the right things and is chopped into the perfect size for a small bird. Makes serving veggies very easy. Humans like it too.

I don't know if you've ever worked with these but I have two parakeets that are fairly uncooperative. I believe it may be because there are two birds and also because I am a high school student and I don't have enough time to work with them. They are very scared of baths, and they are very scared of humans. Any advice?

@chesawoo Two sun conures, what a lucky human you are! It's probably never very quiet around your place. Bo does not do the conure scream. He's a very quiet sun. He does a lot of talking though, bird sounds, like in his new video.

@ased215er can I suggest to do lots of research on the care and attention they need (LOTS) and truly Marnie is one of a kind. I've had birds for 20 years and nobody has had a personality like this. I certainly love them all for who they are. FYI, my other ringneck doesn't talk at all!! Best of luck!!

@chesawoo I beg to differ about IRN personalities - I've owned parrots, finches and groundbirds for almost 23 years, and I've always found Ringnecks have the most varied personalities!

One of my current ringnecks regularly swings herself around branches (as in, loop-the-loop!), and eats bacon. BACON!

Hi! It was because of Marnie I had to get a ringneck and I have 2! Ones a blue female and I also have a lutino female. THey are both great other than the fact they can't sit together b/c they fight or get mad... lol But do you have any suggestions about them screaming randomly? THey talk but they decide to scream every once in a while and it gets reallllly loud. They have tons of toys and get plenty of attention, get plenty of out of cage time, and are both in large seperate cages.

You've done a fantastic job with Marnie..I only wish my IRN was this loving, I rescued him/her (not sure which!) from a woman who was allowing her cats to terrorise him at 6mths old.....a year on and he is viscious as hell, really aggressive...if I even go near his (HUGE) cage he goes ballistic and tries to attack me. Any tips?

i recently purchased a young cockatiel on a seed diet. i am trying to get her to eat pellets without luck. i was wondering if there was anything you could suggest i try. i mix a little bit of seeds with the pellets to let her know they are food. she just digs for seeds. i do give her cut up veg and fruit, which she likes. i just want her to be healthy. and you seem to have a lot of beautiful birds! i was wondering if you suggest anything??

@LucyCockatiel That she is happily eating her fruits and veggies is great! If that can be at least 50% of her diet then you're doing fine. Maybe just always keep a dish of pellets in at all times, and maybe sprinkle a few on the fresh food daily to see if that helps!
