Thanks dear! i appreciate it! Ricky is no longer alive.. she died back in January of 07 : ( got really sick.. took her to the vet... tried to get her on antibiotics, but it didn't save her! miss her so much
I'd suggest giving your Cockatiel a Uni-sex name because when they are born its hard to tell the gender, like name it Charlie, sam, or Alex, (my birds name)
You know what? I did the exact same thing with naming my cockatiel. My dad named it Billy (for bill clinton.. apparently he talks to much... don't ask! he's an old korean man!).
but later we found out he was actually female and so it was changed to hilary.
awww this makes me miss my little cockatiel softy :) he's was the nicest bird ever

Oh no im so sorry to hear that. it sucks when animals die, its like losing a member of the family. just lost one of my chickens suzy :(
