  • poor jackie she went through a lot and will be forever one of the best first ladies ever

  • I like how the commentators didn't talk during certain parts. Unlike today, then they allowed there to be moments of contemplation rather than rambling on like idiots.

  • Pure class as the world has not seen since or will ever see again from those in leadership positions.

  • The world lost gifts beyond it's imagination when the US government had JFK murdered. If there is a heaven, the JFK, and Jacky are there with JFK Jr.

  • omg is nt she da perfect first lady? the elegance, style, beauty, personality ....Princess Diana and Jacqueline Both will remain our hearts forever...

  • 15 years gone tomorrow... seems like yesterday

  • aww i loved her she's like my role model!

  • A very moving and dignified farewell to a very gracious and beautiful lady. There will never be another First Lady in the White House like her. I don't think anyone could even come close to her style and grace!

    Rest in peace Jackie.

  • she was the princess diana of her time

  • @garycalgary I'm not sure I'd agree that Jackie was the Princess Diana of any time. What did she ever do for hundreds of charities like Diana did. Other than the obsession by the press, they were night and day. Jackie was very private, Diana was public and used her publicity for good causes.

  • @garycalgary I was just thinking that. I used to see her & Maurice walking on 5th avenue often. We always made eye contact and nodded to one another. I admired her so much. Be well!

  • i liked the clips of the family

  • Wow...Jessye Norman's rich voice, the church's Mander organ's sweet notes, and the somberness of the Requiem Mass intertwined together with the memories of a First Lady over 13 years ago. I was too young (I was almost 5 at that time) to be profoundly impacted by the magnitude of a mournful day in NYC, about 30 minutes from my hometown in northern NJ. :(

  • "God gave her great gifts and imposed on her great burdens", and she carried them with great dignity and worthy of great reward!

  • So well put... i love what you have said above, they were emotions i could not put into words... I was born in 92 so i did not know of the magnitude of this day in New York but now at my age of 16 Jackie has become an icon/role model to me and will forever remain that way, every time i think of her I can't help but think what a wonderful lady the world has lost the definition of class, beauty, and elegance she was and will always remain for me and countless others

  • Jessye Norman sounds like an angel... perfect
