to me this film represents how someone may have ur back whether it be your friend or your own unconscious protecting you from the cruel world around you. i read it two ways: on one hand the girl uses her imagination and believes her stuffed animal bag is her best friend and protector, defending her at all costs and making her feel better. on the other hand, if we accept that inanimate objects may be real, she realizes her bag is a loyal friend and cares about her by defending her. i love it!
