  • with thick curly hair...non relaxed...would you comb out the hair while comditioner or shampoo is in...or wait until it is all rinsed out. also, can you deep conditon a 2 year old childs hair. Help...im ruining my daughters hair

  • verry beautyful

  • ur hair is so bouncy and beautiful

  • i am on a "challenge" where im also learning to properly care for my hair. as a child, all the wrong things were done to it and being i child, there was nothing i could really do. but now im getting it healthy since about june 09. great results! im actually taking out my last set of braids EVER right now. but you are a real inspiration. and i love your hair!!!

  • Wow! Ur hair looks so healthy!

  • are you naked in this video?

  • lol no, I have on a strapless one peice outfit-lol

  • wow! you did that in a short amount of time! congrats!

  • Do You Reccomend Bolw DRYING cause My Hair doesn't work air drying can you send me your whole regim

  • I don't only in emergencies but if u must. use a heat protectant. Avoid heat if u can tho

  • hey how do i start to grown my hair i want it al least shoulder lenght can you tell me what to do

  • Beautiful hair!

  • omg im going to start but i doubt i have any progress :( but its worth the try

  • DONT GIVE UP! like vonnique said healthy and long hair does not grow over night...just be patient because the rewards are worth the wait :)

  • Hi! CONGRATS! your hair has grown really quickly...I have been trying to do your challenge and I am a little more than shoulder length now and I want to reach BSL by January. I have a question...so I put in weaves alot...and I am afraid to moisturize it too much because I dont want my hair to be greasy...how often should I moisturize it and how often should I use castor oil?

  • Do as often as you like.. experiement ..start with once aweek and go from there...

  • vonnique i purchase the aphogee protein treatment because my hair is damaged and its shedding. I was wondering after you do the protein treatment and the balancing moisturizer do a deep conditioner or do i apply a leave or can i skip all that and just move onto my regular moisturizer? Also i read the direction on the aphogee protein treatment and it say that i need to sit under a drier but i dont have one can i just put on a plastic cap?

  • I would still do a deep conditioner, leave in is a must always..and then proced with mositure and oil..etc.you can walk around with it . is it the 2 minute or the other protein treatment?

  • how often do you deep condition your hair and what do u use? I use hair mayo for my eep condition but it has protein in it, is that safe to use on my hair 2x per week?

  • Depends. you should have a good balance of moisture and protein. I would personalyl can not use protein twice a week

  • V

Hey girl! I did use the generic brand of CHI from Sally's before flat ironing. People are starting to notice that my hair is alot healthier and I am very pleased! One question I just ordered the Jamaican Black Castor oil can't wait to try it! Have you any comments or suggestions about it? Again your hair looks AWESOME!!!!!!!mo hair and god bless!

  • Iam so gald to hear that girl!!! I have not tried the actaually "jamaican" castor oil but I have tried the walmartbrand-lolI would recommend only using it on wash days and then tweak it once you experiment (more often or less often etc)..hope this helps mama!

  • V,

Your hair looks GREAT go head gurlllll!!!!Lol! As for me my hair is doing good! It's healthy and I am very please still sticking to my regimen. I let it air dry for the 1st time and pulled it back and put a bun on then flat ironed a couple of days later so not sure if that was good or bad? Any way congrats on your length it looks awesome! Keep the vids coming! Mo hair!

  • lol heat every now n then isnt soo bad .frequently is def a nono!! did u use heat protectant:-)?

  • Hair looks good mama I just purchased Garnier Fructis cuz i heard good reviews on it... and the deep conditioner you use is awesome Ive been using it for years.

  • Glad you like it!:_)

  • Congrats on finding a regime that works for you!!

I've never had naturally long hair at all in my life.

Everytime my hair would start growing, It would start breaking.Couldn't even rock a short bob if I wanted to. Right now I'm keeping a sew in to promote growth and it's working so far. Hopefully by May i'[ll have some decent length going on.

  • Thanks! U will.. n ill be here:-)

  • Looking good Vonnie! We gonna get to APL in no time! (2coreysluvum)

  • I hope so thanks mama!

  • looking good girl. so i was doing the challenge with you (kinda). i didn't use the same products though. it came out great. i have never posted a vid before but i do have pics tracking my progress. i may post them as a response or something if i can figure out how lol.

  • Post it girl..i wanna see!

  • ok.... if split ends are already present on the hair..... can it be repaired or do you have to trim? If it can be repaired what product/s can you recommend?

  • Split ends are dead hair. There's no coming back from death!

  • The hair is already dead but split ends are damaged hairs that cannot be repaired. The only thing to do is to cut them off else the hair keeps splitting up the hair, possibly causing tangles along the way, and breaking off.

  • Your hair looks great and congrats..... You said that you didn't trim your ends since the journey.... how did u maintain them.... Didn't you get split ends? Please tell me what u used because my hair is armpit length and i wanna reach bra strap length without trimming... please advise me!

  • I just followed my regimen and wore my hair pnned up and I avoided split ends:-)

  • I know your done with your challenge but Im going to join you now! Your hair has grown alot! Great work!

  • How much did all the products cost?

  • Your hair looks good, I have a question I don't do relaxers but will your regimen work just the same ???

  • Judasomero, I can't say that my regimen can work fr everyone. I am simple sharing my products and opinions with you I would recommend doing some research on women who have success with natural hair and get their opions on products as well and then u be the judge:-)

  • I don't have good natural hair, Well naturally it is good but due to over processing it has turned into a hot mess. I don't get relaxers though I did have a straightening though and I seen your success and I'm willing to try anything to get it back to looking good and I've seen your success and hoping I can get my hair just as flawless. =)

  • Your hair looks good and healthy....love the shine

  • Just Beautiful!!

  • thats wassup i started at your length, itll be six months for me on my bday (christmas) so thats when ill relax and see whats good!
