Went in a couple of years ago its hard to get in to and yes it is haunted i had a very scary experience there and on some of the photos i took u can see definate orbs
me and my step dad were in there not long ago and we were just wondering around and when we went into oneof th tunnels i swear i could hear something tapping,, i asked my stepdad if it was him trying to make me scared he said no and said it must have been my imagination cuz he didnt hear it...... and when i was on my way out leaving one of the houses i could have sworn something had been lobbed at some old rusty metal :/ tbh its really spooky
I swear those things are haunted, went in them once and just got the scariest cold feeling all over me! also once my friends mum went in one of the barraks there and came out with blood all down her arm, didnt feel anything but there was a hell of a lot of blood.
16 or so years ago, I use to go there with friends for midnight parties, thats a scary time to be there, but after a few beers, no one really cares if its got ghosts or not.
im 35 and have been to the forbidden city at least 50 times and i can tell you it is not haunted i,ve even camped up there and saw nothing, But try the underground hospital near the Verne prison that will make your hair stand on end...
Now thats a good place to go, the underground hospital ............ its now blocked off, I think, but it was blocked off back sixteen or so years ago, but we still got in.
i live on portland and the forbidden city is actually a propper scary place the name of the ghost is called drummer boy and there was mass media speculation about it in the sixtys
as well there are suposed to be the ghosts of german prisoners there aswell also the building he is stood next to at the start if you go upstairs in that building there are bullet holes and blood stairs all over the walls me and my friend chris checked it out it is propper scary
NO! It was the ghost of portland (locals refer to him as 'dave the ghost') legend has it, he can sometimes be seen at night, wondering around the cliff edge with his trousers down throwing stones at seagulls Wahoooooooo scarrryyyy. So to clarify, it was Dave the Ghost who threw it- nice give to be fair, he was aiming as always for the seagulls, bloody dave ey!
no one ever called it the forbiddon city round me, and the only reason the yoof of portland think its haunted because they all sit round there in the evenings and get pissed on cider and scare each other. Especially when i was hiding in the tunnels and jumping out on people. lol
Girl in vid did im from southampton so not aufait with er yar the locals down ol portland 'arbour. Its fuking scary on your own at 8pm just when its getting dark - not exactly ibiza
i tell you what scary, go to the portland museam walk an extra 100yds along the road till you see a footpath on your going into some trees., follow it down till you get to the ruins of a church along with some gravestones of people who died from the plague, get of the footpath and walk through them
till you get to the bushes, look carefully and you will find a kind of opening go through it and have a good wonder around. Just dont go falling down the pits.
