  • What's the 3rd film? O_o

  • @normalstalker It's Such a Beautiful Day.

  • am i the only one who realizes that, this is from steve hawkens.

and i am from holand , iven i know that . but i agree to 1 thing.

this shut have 200 million views and not a sniezing panda.

  • what the heck? i searched im so proud of you by drake and i found this lol

  • @percyjakson1

you have horrible taste in music...

  • "the passing of time is just an illusion

because all of eternity is actually taking place at once

    the past never vanishes away

and the future has already happened" .. thats a masterpiece right there

  • don- ill probally get told off by youtube for suggesting a rival. But have you thought about uploading your videos to vimeo.com ?. it suits your kind of films.

  • "I am so proud of you" is the most beautiful film I've seen for many years. It made me cry lika a child. Don is so talented, and this story is so deep and has so many bottoms. I love it!

  • this is the type of vid that should have 200 million views

    not sneezing pandas

  • so seeing this means that if we are here who is our future and how is our past stilll alive. Should i die? our will i live? Will i ever get high our can i fly?

  • why is the titled called im so proud of you?

  • Am I the only one that started to tear up when (SPOILER ALERT) Bill collapses into a seizure and his life flashes before his eyes? What got me was the final lines of the film, combined with the music building.

  • OMG SO MANY DETERMINISM REFERENCES *ORGASM*

  • It smells like dust and moonlight.

  • It was genetics for the guy to have chewing gum fly out his mouth o.o;

  • where can I find this actual film?

  • @kkbforizzle I want to know too!

  • this is true art in video

  • 4 people didn't get the joke.

  • I watched this in theater \0.0/ thank you

  • "bill made a joke he had sworn he heard somewhere - but the guy just stared at him like he didn't get it."

    happens to everybody.

  • I think there an infinite number of different universes or dimentions, each in a different time period. Example: there is a universe or dimention the is taking place l.02912737 seconds in the past.... You can see why its an infinite amount. :o

  • @xTipshedax

According to the theory of all time being an illusion, something that happened 1.02912737 seconds ago is not another universe, just another place along a (physical?) dimension that we cannot observe.

  • surreal... no lesser word is fit for a piece such as this.. :)

  • "As his chewing gum flew itself from his mouth"

So serious and funny at the same time.

  • @MarlyxIchimaru I laughed but wasnt sure if I was doing the right thing...

  • ill never look at don hertzfeldt the same way again

  • I could have sworn I've seen this clip before..

  • Its a pretty beatiful Film...

  • can someone explain this to me?

  • @terrileo Learn about spacetime. :)

  • "The passing of time is just an illusion, because all of eternity is actually taking place all at once. The past never vanishes away and the future has already happened. All of history is fixed and laid out like an infinite landscape of simultaneous events that we simply happen to travel through in one direction." Beautiful :3

  • This one made me sob a lot. Especially the beginning, the childhood part....

  • This is amazing. oh my gosh. I have never seen anything like it. I'm being serious, this isn't sarcasm. It cuts so deeply, but it's so simple.

  • I cream everytime Wagner's Prelude to Act III from Tristan comes up and the clouds...

  • @camerashy28 Damn the illusion of movement! damn the illusion of movement to hell!!!!!!!!!!

  • the passing of time is just an illusion, because all of eternity is actually taking place at once. the past never vanishes away, and the future has already happened. all of history is fixed and laid out, like an infinite landscape of simultaneous events that we simply happen to travel through in one direction.

  • Oh wow. That is amazing.

  • Man, I love how it has such a focus on the pointless things, like the gum falling out of the guy's mouth, just to emphasize how pointless and unimportant life is...deep.

  • I had to listen to Bill's joke 4 times before I got it. Man I am slow. I wonder if I have seen the video before. LOL.

  • If it weren't for the stick people and the animation style, it would have been hard to convince me that this was made by the same guy who did the intermission for the Animation Show. This is my favorite part of this film, btw

  • I love Bill's joke at the end.

  • This is just what I was looking for! ...Nothing about everything :D

  • @omegalipsis you mean everything about nothing, right?

  • its 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

  • 2 people were cut in half by trains

  • 0:40 - 1:08 Song Title?

  • @Venomspb

The song name you are looking for is called "Im Treibhaus" by Wagner.

  • @JacksDisappointment Thanks a lot!

  • 2 people were twins that were separated at birth and both grew up to be serial killers.

  • Don Hertzfeldt?

  • the passing of time is just a illusion

because all of eternity is actually taking place at once

    the past never vanishes away

and the future has already happened

all of history is fixed and layed out

like an infinite landscape of simultaneous events

that we simply happen to travel through in one direction

  • so true !

  • i lold at the end :D

  • Bill isn't a Presentist?! Awesome.

  • Was he talking about Dexter?

  • The bit about all of eternity occuring at once is referenced in Slaughter House 5! It's such a beautiful way to look at time (or the lack thereof).

  • damnit don make clips quicker. I've waited 2 years and this still isn't able to see this anywhere.

    he's so brilliant.

  • I've seen both chapters of this series, and they were just perfect. Don is a genius. I can't wait for the third one! :D

  • it smells like dust, and moonlight.

  • hmm this kinda reminds me of my friend who seems to narrarate her life inside her head XD

  • So is Don a fan of Vonnegut or what?

"The most important thing I learned on Tralfamadore was that when a person dies he only appears to die. He is still very much alive in the past, so it is very silly for people to cry at his funeral. All moments, past, present and future, always have existed, always will exist. [...] It is just an illusion we have here on Earth that one moment follows another one, like beads on a string, and that once a moment is gone it is gone forever." -Vonnegut Jr.

  • love the clips reminds me of how i tell my life...

  • I Am So Proud Of You is easily one of the most beautiful and inspiring films I have ever seen. Thank you.

  • I love these movies :) As soon as I get the oppourtunity I'm definitely buying this.

  • Not as funny as the other ones ive seen. Still bravo.

  • @andalite191294 Most of the film isn't really meant to be funny. But there are some funny parts.

  • MORE, DAMMIT! MORE!!!

  • MAH HEAD ASPLODE

  • The thing about time being an illusion is beautifully done, such an appropriate topic for animation.

  • @camerashy28 That's especially true considering the way he animated this, drawing every single frame and then just photographing them in a specific order.

  • hahaha love the ending!

  • This clip is too good for youtube. :(.

  • Gold!

  • lol that was kind of funny
