As far as judging is concerned...look around and see how many covers there are of this song by guitarist under the age of 20. You conclude that they learned the Mayer version and not the Hendrix version because it's a lot of noodling. Hendrix version...nice and clean. But whatever, I'm an old fart that digs the source material.
