Hi everyone, sorry for my ignorance but wouldn't it be easier to play 3, 5, 7, 3 (frets) on the 6th string. Then 3, 7, 5, 3 on the 5th string. And finally 3, 5, 7, 10, 7, 8, 7, 5, 3 on the 6 th string?

I'm sure this is not the original way of playing it 'cause I got it by ear, but I think it is an simple way of playing it.

Us fingerpicker types try and keep away from the dusty end, so keeping it all on the 1st 3 frets I find easier. It also allows the strings to ring longer when the successive notes are played on different strings, giving a fuller sound. Hope that helps.
