i want to buy a speaker system..I found two systems that are not very expensive and also has more power..

1st one is is this, Logitech Z-2300 and the other system is Sony MHC-EC909iP Mini hi-fi music system.

Logitech has 200 RMS or 400MAX and Sony hi-fi has 540Watt Power..

Sony costs little more but I am really confused on which one to buy..

I want alot of bass and good/loud sound.

@sckonja Yes this system goes very loud especially considering the relatively low price. Some vendors on Amazon ship international, others do only domestic shipping, but you should search in your own country first, these speakers are quite popular so I'm sure you'll find them somewhere and it'll save you alot of money.

@sckonja sure, in the US the Z-2300 is really cheap (from $99 on Amazon), but unfortunately most of them wont do international shipping. The cheapest there is WITH international shipping is $139 without the shipping costs. go to amazon (dot) com and type in the search bar "logitech z-2300" and you'll find it (sry cant post link)

you should log in to amazon and see what it will cost to ship it to your country and compare to your local price (because the shipping can get expensive)

I just bought one of these speaker systems today and it just goes BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ anytime I plug the jack in or even if it goes near something, I suspect its just the line the speakers seem fine and if I twist the jack enough it stops buzzing for like 2 seconds. Please help the support site does say, although like I said its pretty much broken and I havn't even used it yet

Hi. I've noticed that this song from SA has good bass, and I had just full range speakers! Veeery good speakers there! I've got 2.1 system too, but it's just 10W on sub and 5W on tweeters :( But they cost just 30 euros. When you're playing the song, the sub is just on 40% !? But it sounds like 100% You can hear when kick drum comes, it makes a little click sound...

Honest opinion about z-2300:

Its GREAT for movies and stuff like that. BUT for listening to music and specially soft music at low levels its very ugly because theres NO MIDS ON THESE 2.1 SPEAKERS. I fixed that though by putting rear speakers from my component system and setting it up on my sound card. Now it sounds FUCKING AWESOME

Yes I know! I've got similar Logitechs, and on tweeters is no midrange. I have two pink and two light green input on my computer. One pink and light green on front of computer, near USB, and the same on back of computer, so I put old fullrange speakers(not fullrange, midrange most)in back port, and new one(with sub) in front and it sounds FUCKING AWESOME TOO!

@iNekoNaru is not that good for music. Talking and singing will sound a bit low compared to the effects and sound of instrument in the background. Most people might not even notice but i perfectly do. They are good speakers though. Just dont expect Bose quality

Ganz einfach: Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist perfekt. Ich höre gerade den Track in meinem Zimmer über die Z-2300 und ich muss den Bass abdrehen, weil es mir in den Ohren zu arg dröhnt. Der Sub bringt gute tiefe Bässe rüber, die man hört und spürt und die Sateliten haben sternenklaren höhen und Mittenbereich, wobei der mittenbereicht leicht besser sein könnte... aber ansonsten Top... reicht sogar für ne Party, wenn man ne gescheite Soundkarte/Mp3 Player angeschlossen hat !

i have this speaker set and it blows away most $500 home stereo amps, u can also get clearer quality out of the satilites by replaceing them with a pair of precision acoustics bookshelf speakers. Logitech also has damn good 5.1 thx certified systems with 110Db signal to noise ratio (i also use a Z-5300e speaker set) combine these with a good sound card and u will never want another stereo i had neighbors across the street complaining about how loud it was!!

Search for Energy speakers. Not much more in price, but much more warmth, clairity, and has excellent positional audio. Great for music, or Movies/Gaming. Very slight drop in the low to low-mid response typical of all satelite set-up's, however, it's very minor with these. But it MORE than makes up for it with clear, crisp, loud, impressive audio. i have these speakers, i will tell you now exactly how they sound.. without the bass covering the sound its VERY thin sound. you need to adjust enough bass to make the music sound full. i played some games on these speakers. call of duty 4 - SOUNDS terrible with these, since shooting, blowing things up doesnt have any bass funny enough, my old logitech speakers had built in bass n sounded better, but as far as playing hiphop and bass driven sound its great.
