haha, reminds me of when i made my first deck.. my board is shorter tho (like 27 inches)... i didn't like grip tape either.. BUT.. ive come to like it alot.. ive since gotten mad risers, humungo wheels, and my trucks are way loose..

yo dude you need to put some bigger wheels on that. the 52mms aren't going to get you anywhere, plus if you get bigger wheels you'll need some big risers with some long hardware.
