@Luna95cat not exactly. the violence and sadness doesn't actually belong entirely to the emo style.

You may not be aware but this type of violence is growing on the world, more and more. Violence in dating and marriage, and that's what this movie represents, not "emoness".

Oh One more thing, this actually represents a part of my life when I was in a messed up relationship, of course Josh didn't existed he is represented as my courage and my need to be free of him. And I'm not emo.
