Thanks so much for putting this on. My son and I have loved these since he was just a toddler. We had them on tape but wore the tapes out! Ignore the grumps on here and their juvenile, whiny remarks. WE LIKE IT AND THANK YOU FOR IT! Much appreciated.
My son is now 18 and we watched some of this just this morning before he went to school! Still laughing!
You can, of course, do what you think best. However, one poster was just trying to help another understand why these days appear dark/bleak to some. I would have appreciated someone taking the time for me. I didn't interpret it as preaching at all.
I like the movie. I posted it here because some people might like it too. But it's just a movie. The chances of being happy in this world, in reality, not like a movie, are many. If you do not find any is because are not looking for or looking in the wrong place and hitting his head on the wall. Now, please do not bring any religion HERE.
Thank you so much for posting this. What a wonderful movie, which was just produced to make people laugh, smile and care about what's dear to each of their hearts. Most importantly, caring for and about other people. Again, thank you for posting.
Thank you, thank you, these old movies are great. It would be great if movie producers would go back to making good wholesome movies again. Thank you for the posting. Love it, love it. And these movies didn't cost millions and millions of dollars to film either, they did most of their movies on set or sound stage. Look at credits from years ago. The list is a whole lot shorter too. Wow!
Thank you for the download, I really like this film. And while Cobert's character is far too conceding to her goofball husband (MacMurrary), but it did introduce Ma and Pa Kettle. In fact, Margorie Main was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
I feel so good watching these films and afterward I feel so depressed. It seems as though we are in darker times now its hard to find the light in anything.
@Opium1958 I agree! But if you have Jesus Christ, you have the Light!!! We are living in the time which the Bible said would be like in the days of Noah and Lot. The "righteous" few walked thru the door of the ark and were saved from the coming destruction. Jesus Christ is Door for those who are righteous because of His atoning sacrifice. He is the ARK. He said "When you see these things begin to come to pass, LOOK UP, for you redemption draweth nigh."
@julieification I loved what you wrote, Thank you for that. sometimes I need a little reminder to look up. Theres a lot of good stuff now but I wish people cared more. I guess thats why some of these movies are healing in a way.
@Opium1958 The Bible warns that in the last days "the love of many will grow cold.." which is probably why you are noticing that fewer people today seem to care about anything but themself. I agree about the movies. Sometimes I just have to "get away" by watching some old movie. The Bible says laughter is good medicine.
@julieification - Don't forget that Jesus never said anything in the Bible - it was all written by Jews trying to preserve their communities 50 -90 years after Jesus lived - if he lived at all - and that the bible is just a history of the Jewish race with every little historical accuracy and a lot wishful thinking. It's garbage basically and can be interpreted anyway you like to say whatever you want - just like the stories of the Grimm Brothers or Hans Christan Anderson.
@yodasling ......It is obvious that you have never read the Bible.....Jesus spoke all through the New Testament....and the books were written by HIS deciples......Matthew,Mark, Luke and John.....who were with HIM when he performed miracles, and went to the cross for your sins...
@nativekentuckian Make a miracle for me. Download the movie on the Internet and put it on your channel. Or will watch the movie on channel "BWvoyager11".

@chicagolowe Thanks for the reply! One of the FUNNIEST scenes ever filmed must be where Betty and Bob are at the local dance and Betty ends up dancing with the most "assorted" characters ever seen!! I laughed so hard I cried!
