LOL..I love caller number three "I sound insane" I know the feeling my sis and I saw what the cops in illinois saw. They talked about it on Discovery Channel. Except we saw it like in 1975 or 76 in Georgia. Two bright lights etc. silent hovering triangle there were three other boys that saw it too. Just can't wrap your brain around it. Ran the audio through filters. umm im lost why are 3 callers in a row representing 3 different addresses are the same voice. there are no normal 911 recording tones that are legally bound to be placed on all 911 recordings. 1 more thing the calls and operator R recorded with windows sound rec.software (the filters show this) there is no linnux based recording software soundstamp. that isnt just industry standard, its the industry,period.

I grew up on Linden Drive 1950-60s.Hiked & fished the old quarry all the time.Never knew of anything odd other than some spill in a vehicle area not far from the old water plant on the E side of the lake.The lake was very healthy.We used to catch lots of frogs, salamander, crawdads, bass, snakes, etc.There was a spring that drained into the lake & the frogs loved it. That lake is weird. ive been through the fence and up to the actual lake and there are signs constantly saying "no tresspassing" or "keep out" or whatever. Crazy I grew up about a mile away from there, and my mom still lives there. Lived about 3 miles away at the time and never heard about this. I do listen to Centerville Police's radio frequency quite often and I don't recognize the dispatchers voice. But there radios have the lower audio end crank up so they sound tough. So far those that live in the area pretty much agree this did happen. As to the comment about the way the call was answered We didn't hear the typical 911 whats your emergency. Today they have a electronic answering system that asks you if its an actual emergency or not. If you say it is not an emergency it will put you through to a dispatch line. This is most likely what we are hearing on this call.

i live in centerville (about 3 miles away from where this was happening...but i can actually see my old house in this picture :P) and I do remember hearing on this news about a supposed "UFO sighting" in that area. I have 3 friends who live in that neighborhood and they all experienced power problems. So the actual event is not a hoax. I'm not sure if this is the actual 911 dispatch though.

hey, i live on the same street as the people who called in, and i can assure you that this is not a hoax and this is the actual tape because i recognize my neighbor's voices. that being said, i slept through the entire thing. i am a very heavy sleeper so i guess that's why i didn't hear it. the next morning everyone was talking about it and i was really suprised. i personally am not into the whole UFO theory, but we do live close to Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
