  • It wouldn't even drive

  • @firewizorlego1 Why do you think "it wouldn't even drive"?

  • can i have the sldprt please?? (A)

  • @t4twister1 Sorry for the delay. I don't mind sharing. I haven't made time to post the assembly file yet but hope to soon.

  • @salamimommy

Thanks! I'm learning SW at the moment, maybe i'll give the CSWA exam a go anytime soon, and this would be a nice thing to study ;)

  • @salamimommy @salamimommy Can you send it to my e-mail, please. I need it.

  • i Love Solid Works..XD

  • this doesnt do anything the motor still runs a single axle but only the worm gears reduce it

  • Do you think it's possible that that "single axle" is actually multiple axles positioned end to end? It's interesting how many people are comfortable enough to blab out some fact about something that they know so little about. Both intelligent and stupid people do this, it's some sort of "I know everything" complex that entitles them. Either way it makes them sound stupid. When you get a chance let me know how the possessed paper at Chili's works, or doesn't work.

  • @salamimommy k take back wat i siad if its all different axles nice job tho just the driveline shoulda been a little clearer

  • That equals out to be a 17,496 to 1 ratio.

(17,496:1) So you could pull a house, but you wouldn't go anywhere.

  • Actually, maybe only a pony. There are only five 3:1 reductions, making it 5,832:1.

  • Yes, but I added the worm gear reduction, which is a giant part.

  • 3*3*3*3*3*24=5,832

    3*3*3*3*3*3*24=17,496

But your number is off by a factor of three not a "giant part" (twenty four) and since there are only five 3:1 gear reductions I assumed that the three X delta was because there was assumed to be six 3:1 reductions.

  • Whoops.

  • thank you!!!!! i hope it is work:p

  • it wouldnt drive cuz all the gears are on 2 different shafts

  • Son....... you might be legally retarded.

  • lol

  • cool can it turn

  • whats the program you made that animation on?

  • SolidWorks 2006

  • i use CAD in my school, but it wuz 4 CO2 cars

& it was only 2 views

  • CAD isn't an individual program.

Computer Aided Design comes in many different programs.

  • Can't tell if this comment is meant to be informative or critical. If it was intended to be informative then my reply would be as follows:

"Thank you I'm glad you've learned this."

If this is critical commentary my reply would be:

If I said, "I have a three sided polygon."

Would you correct me by saying, "No you don't, that's a triangle."

  • It wasn't directed towards you, so don't worry. (:

  • very nice job!!its awesome!

  • well it looks like you spent alot of time on it but it was worth it and i like the drive shaft that is cool!

  • Thanks. The modeling was a small part compared to the animating. The SolidWorks animation tool is tedious. Check out the video in my favorites that a SolidWorks employee created, it's amazing.

  • Thats awesome.. but you know thos top gears aren't doing shit rite, they must just b for looks durr just kinda a waste i think

  • Don't get ahead of yourself here. They are doing shit, very important shit infact. I think you're confused because the chain that connects the reduction gang to the main drive shaft isn't shown.

  • So its being geared small to big to small to big.. 5 times on the same shaft. The shaft can only spin at 1 speed... I must not be seeing something rite because in the videos it does look like the last gear is turning over slower

  • Each of the top two shafts are are made up of multiple shafts. They butt up against eachother end to end, it does look like one shaft. When the rotating components are shown alone each group of components turns red for a moment to illustrate the different clusters.

  • Ha, ight thanks for clearing that up =)

  • i thought the same thing! if they were one shaft it just jam. It just the program detailing

  • I thought the same but after clearing up that render issue, there's no doubt about it; that means some insane power for a lego car.

  • it will get stuck you know...

  • It is NOOBish! It is imposible! Creator is an idiot!

  • Well said.

  • Where did you get those differentials?
