If you start practising now, you'll still never be able to do half of what's in these videos in a real fight! Not sure I agree with Sega's philosophy for Akira, games should revolve around tactics and skill in battle, not skill in actually pressing the buttons in my opinion. Giving him very powerful moves that are hard to do just results in some people having access to them and everyone else unable to use them.

@hellocrazy1 Virtua Fighter actually has depth, and Tekken is all juggles. Not to say this series doesn't have juggles, it just relies 90% on them as the core focus of gameplay. You'd might as well be playing a Capcom vs. game if you just want to juggle people all day with the same two moves.

hmmm, impressive combos nevertheless - however, I couldnt help but notice tho that between 0:25 and 0:50 the game mode was "Watch Mode" - 2 ai computer controlled characters selected by the player to play against each other. A lot of those reversals are actually very hard to pull off within the millisecond you get! Take it from someone who has owned a copy of VF2 for quite some time now =) nice video tho.

Without a doubt, Hakyokuken is a martial art without equal in VF. The "Eight Direction Fist" has a technique to adress nearly any type of attack. It is no wonder that Ryo Hazuki from the Shenmue series was based off of Akira Yuki of VF.

Karate Champ was the figther of the 80`s, and it had numerous spin offs for several arcades. The primitive sprite work not showing what is in the artwork means diddly. You can barely tell Ryu and Ken apart in SF1 if not for the color of the Gi.
