This would make an AMAZING media player-come-NAS-server box. Instead of the usual Buffalo Linkstation/Qnap boxes you could also have a media player built in. Leave the box on all day as a web server, download box and media player and all using very little power. ARM CPU is enough for all those tasks

How can apple catch up with nvidia they use nvidia to make ur over prices PC's actually do what that 150$ net book does...only thing apple's will cost 999$...they have a lot more to worry to about, they might have enter the value market and stop over charging ppl for glossy PC's

Apple are the market leader in portables alongside Nintendo and Nokia.

Those three are in a class of their own when it comes to raw hardware sales and theres little doubt that won't be changing anytime soon.

Nvidia bought the company that built some the past Apple Ipods lol GOOGLE IT. I'm sure all Apple really does is design the body..thats it. Everything inside is designed and built by another company working along with Apple and assembled in China.

Apple does make hardware, and they also make CPUs since their acquisition of PA Semi in 2008 or 2007. The rumors are it's so they can make their own mobile processors for things like the iPhone and netbook-like devices. This would be in direct competition with Nvidia's Tegra.

Still every part in a Moblie Chipset Apple makes will still consist of all licensed Tech from other companies, ARM, Texas Instruments, Samsung, Intel ect.

least nvidia's package will have some tech that was developed by them the open gl development too. Apple is in trouble.

Nvidia's Tegra Chipset, is a cpu/gpu/video encoders/ all on a chip. IF apple was such into hardware.. how come their PC's use normal intel x86 parts?
