  • Good video, but the chosen text colors are very poor and unreadable - defeats the purpose of trying to spread information.

  • @1officemax Thanks man, yeah that's true, that's why I wrote (Read Description) in the brackets, because:

    #1 The description is readable.

#2 The description links to all the evidence for those claims...

  • Hey, I read the article you posted on breastfeeding and it does not say that children will "develop similar similar genes to their mother." A person gets his or her genetic material at the moment of conception when the gametes (containing chromosomes) unite. The article only illustrated that breastfeeding "fulfills their genetic destiny." Genes have the potential to give you certain characteristics, such as height, hair color, etc. Gene expression is facilitated by environment (nutrition, etc)

  • @Mkvine

    cont...

by the environment, geography, etc. What this article illustrated was that certain cells found in breast milk help in fulfilling gene expression. The areas of gene expression that this article talked about was development, such as muscle and bone growth. Nowhere does it imply that "milk mothers" and children will develop similar genes via breast milk. I appreciate this video, but I would be more careful with drawing out science from the quran.

  • @Mkvine Thanks for the insight my friend. A viewer told me that, I guess that's kind of right, but still the stem cells do transfer through breast milk... The article says it helps them 'fulfill genetic destiny' i.e. be closer to the biological mother if she's the one feeding them. Maybe the kid develops certain similarities to the milk mother due to the stem cells... Not sure, what do you think about the other miracles?

  • @truebeliever786

A person's genetic makeup is determined when the gametes unite. The stem cells only help in development. With regards to the other miracles, I can't comment on the division of water since I'm don't know, but it seems interesting. As for the big bang, the verse says that the earth was split apart from the heavens, but at the time of the big bang the earth did not exist. The earth came into existed about 4.5 billion years while the universe in about 13-15 billion.

  • @Mkvine

As for the ocean being more darker the deeper you go, this is common sense. When you go to the beach, the water is more visible and clear near the shore, but as you go more out into the ocean it gets darker. Regarding aggression, yes this is controlled by the prefrontal cortex, but also by the amygdala, hypothalamus, hippocampus, and many other areas. Also, the verse says forelock, which is the hair. I think the best way to interpret these verses is to see how Muhammad interpret them.

  • @Mkvine It can't be obvious that as you go deeper it gets darker, that kind of effect is only noticed 100s of meters deep in the water... The Holy Qur'an says that each layer deeper is an extra level of darkness...

Yeah the verse does say forelock, but it still focuses around that area, i.e. the front of the head, which is where the prefrontal cortex is located...

  • @truebeliever786

As for the water getting darker, all you have to do is go to the beach one day. Maybe even go for a boat ride. You start from the shore near the sand, and you can tell the water is much more clearer than the water further away. As you go out more further, you notice that the water gets a lot darker from the shore. That is just from observation, you don't need a phd for that. Regarding the forelock, all I can say is that the Quran means what it says. Forelock means forelock.

  • @Mkvine Yeah but the verses say that the darkness increases layer by layer as you go deeper, obviously layer cannot refer to distance but depth... As for forelock, even though it does say forelock, the forelock's still located around that area, its senseless to call a piece of hair 'sinful', that's why I believe there's a hidden meaning, which is the prefrontal cortex. Come on, how could the Prophet have guessed that specific area of the body, where the prefrontal cortex is located?

  • @Mkvine Yes I know the Earth didn't exist right away, but even then, the fact is that the Earth and Heavens did split apart, not all at once of course, many celestial bodies were derived from others, the Earth came into existence from the sun, it separated from the sun, so eventually there was a separation between the Heavens and the Earth, when you look at it that way...

  • @truebeliever786

I think you might be reading into the passage. If we look take the verses at face value, they do not suggest what you say. For example, it says the heavens and the earth split, this is not true. The universe exploded at the big bang and it took time for subsequent celestial bodies form. The formation of the earth was a gradual process, not a splitting apart from the universe at once.

  • @Mkvine Yes it took time, but the verse doesn't say it happened all at once, eventually the Earth did split from the Heavens, but the point is, that it is something that happened. The fact is that everything, all the Heavens and the Earth were once together as one single unit of creation, as stated in the verse, a small atom according to science, and then it split and everything eventually separated...

  • @truebeliever786

But I still don't think its a "splitting apart." The earth formed by a gradual accumulation of space elements. If there was such a thing as splitting apart, it might be the initial elements, but not the earth itself.

  • @Mkvine It was the initial elements but even then the initial elements are still the Earth, I mean initially we, as humans, are a Zygote and many things cause and contribute to our growth, but even then, we can consider the Zygote the living being of the human that is going to be formed... That's how I see it...

  • Stupid dislikers...

  • This is beautiful. Wonderful pics, good music and lovely teachings :)

    Well done bro!

  • @QueenTudor4 Jazak-Allahu Khayr...=]
