Back when Soaps were awesome well it goes futher back when it targeted middle age women now it gears toward a much younger audience nothing but sex, sex and sex. my gosh we are living in a very oversexed country. lol Opal looking might hot in that dress.

Wow...what a remarkable performance from each actor featured here. Although I started watching around this time, I never saw this TY for posting.

Sad that this very eppy marked an end of an era for the history of the show. But am grateful we got these classic performances from Phoebe, Myrtle, Livia, Dixie, Jack, Nick, Charlie, Ruth and Joe and of course Miss Kane

@junk4matty This was right after the tornado. He was still in the hospital after having a door blown in on him and visiting "heaven."

@jess4metoo Oh, that's right. I think he got permission to leave the hospital earlier than he was supposed to. Didn't he have an IV by him or something? And wasn't "Jane" revealed to be Janet when Harold interrupted her wedding to Trevor with her medicine bottle? Lol. ABC Daytime was must-see TV for my mom and me through jr. high and high school!

@jess4metoo Thanks for setting the record straight. Although I haven't really watched since about 2000, I'm gonna miss AMC. I guess one takes things for granted, thought it would be a constant. I've been watching since 1970, yep! And I'm a guy.
