Hambone is my granddog, who I haven't met yet. My heart breaks for you Eric, but my positive thoughts & prayers for his safe return go out every day. I have asked my ASBO contact in Ca. to get the word out. Hopefully, he can also have the kids in the public schools look for Hambone too! xx.. C

Have you tried contacting the local news? My friend did that when her dog was stolen and she got the dog back. Might be worth a try...

If there were more respect for animals, we would have an AMBER ALERT for these kinds of thefts. I wish I had been there because I would have flown off my feet to stop these guys.  I hope Hambone is freed so a dog rescue can find him and get him back home.

I've heard of people stealing dogs out of yards, allowing the owner to assume the dog just got out and then calling to get a reward. I wonder what the possible motive is in this case? Whomever calls is going to be the dognapper. I really hope you get your dog back. $5,000 is a nice enticement.
