i got the cs plus and love it...much much muuuch better quality than the charge tti (well maybe only 2 muches better but still) i love the blade design and deployment of my leathermans but the quality of the swisstool is just superb
Been watching your reviews and have to say you and virtuovice have the best knife reviews on Youtube that I have found.
What makes me like them are, for example, that you mix songs and ukulele playing with knife reviews! It's absolutely wonderful that I, the viewer, get a story about something, about your music and passion for knives, something I can identify with. Same thing with virtuovice's videos. A knife is just a dead thing and you make it come alive. Thanks again.
I run into philips screws far more then i run into flathead.... and when i do need a flathead screwdriver its almost always in the smaller size.. You just dont run into many flathead screws on cars or machinery anymore. Probably been out of favor for at least 25 years.. I do like the high build quality of Victorinox multitools though. I would like to see them replace all the screwdriver blades with a single 1/4 inch bit driver.. . carry a bit card and customize it to your specific needs ..
@ the very small flat screwdriver: victorinox sells a corkscrew that fits into the side of the tool and it holds a small flat head screwdriver! PERFECT for you lol!
I agree. my swiss tool is absolutely superb and I'm using it in my hobby every day. even with lots of wooddust and kydex dust it still was perfectly smooth
BTW, I own 4 SwissTools (Standard, X, RS, and black oxide Standard) and 4 Spirit's (Standard, X (what you have), S, and black oxide S model.
I also think that you should have gotten the S model as you don't have a need for the scissors since you have the Micra. The S has the drop point SAK blade AND the blunt peanut butter blade.
I was very curious to hear your thoughts on it and I see that it has grown on you. Awesome!
Another great video Archman. I've now watched both of your Swisstool Spirit vids and I'm really leaning to get one. In your first vid you said the quality was better than the Wave but I can't remember if you compared it to a PowerLock.
I like my Wave and TTi for the ease of getting at the tools but I use the PL at work just because the pliers rock. How does the Spirit hold up to the PL's pliers?
Thanks Arrch, I'm glad you find the time to make this update vid. I need a multitool to be with me in my bag every day, but I'm still don't know which to buy, this or the Juice S2. I've seen great reviews on both.
Thanks again man, I'm always excited when you upload a vid!

It's a cool tool, too bad of the strange butterknife with serations on it, otherwise it would be perfect.

They also make a Swiss Tool Spirit X. It is the same knife, but replaces that weird butter knife with a standard blade.
