apple motion is an absolutely terrible program. You can get better results from any other software out there.

@qpstrafe You can't judge an excellent software just by one video. He probably just put this together to show it's possible, not to prove the quality. If he put more time into it, he could've really put something really incredible together. And anyway, it wasn't made using 3D imaging. Just some 2D tracking and anchor point transformations.

@qpstrafe How in depth did you work with it? Because the quality depends on how you use it. It was meant to create text effects for Final Cut Pro X, and it works better than I could've wanted as far as its purpose serves.

Lost orig. clips here is description -In Motion, I add the text "Quality" and move the anchor point to center/middle of word-- motion track it to the car logo on the front of the car (position only) Use spin behavior or Keyframe rotation -- move to end of clip, add "Affordable", set anchor pt TO ALIGN WITH SIDE MIRROR - reverse Motion track to mirror repeat rotation instruction -- done (Not true 3d Motion tracking but works!)
