sorry but i'd say golf is not a sport, sports you play against someone directly face to face, but golfing....what you really playing against is the ground, you don't chase after the ball as your opponent returns it, you simply get your lazy ass onto a golf cart and drive to where the ball is and hit it again (what kinda sport does that?) tennis players have to be constantly thinking and moving or else they lose a point, golfers just sit there and wait and plan it out so overall golf= not sport

Tennis is probably the most personal sport out there. In terms of the heightened intensity, drama and payoffs. Its a 'one on one' kind of game which pits players directly against each of other. I think that is what makes Tennis my favourite sport and also the most exciting to watch. A win and a loss in Tennis means so much since one's 'glory days' tend to be somewhat limited compared to Golf. Where old men can still reign supreme and the competition is lackluster.

come on!! perhaps tiger runs 5 miles everyday and more. But you don´t have to do that to be a good golf player. I have seen golf players that are fat and they can play good. In tennis when you have 30 your old. In golf you can play util you have like 60 or even more. You can think tiger is better athlete than ROger, Come on is too obvious Federer is better and is harder to do what Federer has accomplished than Tigers record.
