Pretty nice setup! I was trying to get this to work...but the letters were too huge (emulating an LCD) but then I found out I could just use a terminal app and then use the ENTIRE screen for anything I want. So now I just send output to the serialusb device and it works pretty well.
Como diablos lo lograstes??? que software usas...como lo configuras??

En la palm instalé PalmOrb, y con python y dbus obtuve los mensajes de pidgin, y se los envié por el puerto serial al PalmOrb.
