I liked this movie, but not as much as I thought I would. I was expecting it to be more psychological than supernatural, and the romance was just painful to watch--and not in a good way. I think it could have been so much better if it were just a story about a man's friends trying to help him deal with a psychological break.
@CarFox6 I don't think it was too supernatural, it was really all in his head since he was the only one experiencing it, or at least that's all i remember.
@pixiri21 No, it wasn't all in his head because the girl that liked him (forget her name) was in the room where he "killed" the evil Cossette with him, and she saw the cursed objects attack him in the street.
@CarFox6 I liked the supernatural focus, but it was hard to watch Eiri isolate himself so easily. The other characters struck me as incidental. On the other hand, I was fascinated by Cossette and whether or not she would drag Eiri to his doom. I also liked the philosophical questioning of the nature of beauty and how we should love it, not idolize it.
I love this song. I love the movie/anime. It's so amazing...but it's really something you have to sit down and watch. You have to pay attention to really get what's going on.
