It is Laurence Juber. Laurence also played with McCartney in Wings.

Well...something tells me Linda won't be around to do that! I do believe though, Paul would be well served to do a Wings reunion - though many are dead from the band...so it will be a partial pick up group...but c'mon...Macca was the "star" of Wings..but Denny Laine...WAS the band. Mac's music was never as good (post Beatles) since he left Denny.

You heard wrong...she is dead as dead can be. God rest her soul. She died in Oregon...though at the time they said she and Paul were in Santa Barbara. While press and all went south to look for them, she was cremated...no one to this day has wondered if Oregon's assisted suicide law came into play here.

Linda died in Tucson, Arizona. It was said that she died in Santa Barbara so the family could be alone. Paul also denied reports of her death being an assisted suicide. Even her doctor said she died of natural causes.

I stand corrected...but it was Tuscon which I believe had the assisted suicide law at the time...regardless I am sure it was all on the up and up for the reasons you state. Through my job I deal with death all too frequently and have not seen a creamation turn around as fast as Linda's (within 12 hours) which makes me think there was a reason to not have her remains around for a post mortem. Regarldless she is dead and I, as I believe you...wish her to rest in eternal peace!

@peterack I somehow doubt Paul/Linda had anything to hide with her death--- she died of cancer- and Paul was devestated. I assume he didn't want nosy reporters and fans and stuff taking pictures of her death and bothering him. even if it was assisted suicide it would be because Linda asked for it and perfectly legal

@peterack ture-Denny Laine was importnat and stuck with Paul through the whole band's history--but Denny and Paul eneded on a bad note-they were angry at eachother and the band was mad at paul and jealous of him--overall Wings was ready to split and did- so there's no way Paul will reunite with any of htem anytime soon and Linda's dead of course sadly.. Paul does reunited with Ringo sometimes though. and Paul has a new Wings band

@edobb001 NO, these are the 3 members of Wings minus Paul and Linda- so it's Wings- plus other guys from tribute acts---just not Paul/Linda becuase Paul was mad at them for breaking u[ the band kinda and being jealous of Paul and all kinds of other little things.

@pablotabloz nobody--it was just Wings and other Beatles tribute acts at the festival. Paul was way to angry and hurt to come for either band Wings/Beatles

You're right. Laine was pissed that McCartney got busted for pot and had to cancel a whole tour because of it. Which basically meant no paycheck for Denny.

Goes further than that..if you were around in the early 80's there was the rumor of a romance between Linda and Denny that also helped lead to the end.
