drug addicts are not retards. anyone who has any clinical knowledge at the very least knows this. it is something that get's out of control quickly. oxycodone produces a great feeling of euphoria and well being and that is difficult to stop once in the habit of feeling this way with most doses. Just like any drug, it is not the drug that is the problem, but the user and having kicked heroin, cocaine, cigarettes, oxycontin, klonopin, etc. I still use pills as prescribed. it's possible to kick.

Well, i don't know... i had surgery on my mouth...car accident..the whole 9 yards replaced a front tooth, and two side teeth and was given 15mg oxycodone for 30 days (1 a day) and it helped really well with the after affects of the pain. Oxycontin is not damaging to the liver. Unless you already had a liver problem or you were abusing it, it shouldn't have been "destroying your liver" as you say. In fact, regular tylenol is much worse for your liver than Oxycodone. I have been taking Oxycontin for years due to nerve pain that resulted from breaking my back. My doctor assured me that as long as it is not abused, it is not dangerous. It's danger lies in it's potential for abuse, or accidental overdose.
