Paul legally adopted Heather. He even asked Heather when she was a kid what she thought about him marrying Linda before marrying. She wanted a new dad, and later she said she always considered Paul more of her father than her biological father though she would never forget her biological father she felt Paul had been more of a positive influence and was always there for her. Paul took his kids all over the world with him and Linda so they could be a normal caring family instead of snob school

It's natural for most folks not to be too aware of the facts of Heather's life, as she pretty much got stuffed into the background after the arrival of the other children.
BEFORE their arrival, Heather had plenty of Paul's attention. This film didn't talk about all the problems Heather had growing up, which is pretty inexcusable in my book. I sometimes think Heather would have been better off had her biological dad fought for her custody.
ALL the kids had been with Paul and lived in England for most if not all their lives. Linda's daughter Heather has lived in England since Paul adopted her (at just six yr.) in 1969 and she didn't travel back to the US(to visit her biological dad)until she was a grown woman. ALL of Paul and Linda's kids were born and raised in the US. Also, if you ever heard Linda speak, her American accent was greatly softened from the years she spent in the UK. Her ORIGINAL New York accent was pretty harsh.
OOPS! I MEANT to say that all of Paul and Linda's kids were born and raised in the UNITED KINGDOM, not the US! Heather has lived there since she was six years old, and didn't return to the US until years later as an adult to spend time with her biological father.
@CharliesChild Because Linda lived in New York for almost 30 years. Her children were born England, and children pick up language and accents much quicker than adults.
