I just finished today pokemon red version: not having a gameboy back in the days, I had to use an emulator to run the game... and even if I probably didn't get that original feeling that you sure had felt... try to understand me, when I say that this is one of the best games I've ever played in my life, and will always be.
@Alaska1925 kanto was always the best...people say its the hardest and dont like it for that reason but its the best because it gives a challenge :) and its got some kick ass music
@mattynator26 the hardest you say? it didn't look so difficult to me... well, I had my pikachu at level 60 when I got to the league, and the others were about lv. 50, so I didn't find any problem there. sure, some parts of the game were just annoyng, like cycling road the first time, but all of them were really exciting. oh, and the music is great btw :)

On the third floor on the upper right side, there's a trainer that resembles ash's opponent on the ice field in the indigo plateau pokemon league. He uses a cloyster, arcanine & exeggutor. The guy's third pokemon wasnt shown on the show so this is just a guess..

I remember playing pokemon blue when i was 3 years old and having my overpowered level 89 charizard and other pokemon that were weak as hell but i kept them around for HM's they knew.
This song reminds me of my gameboy battery being extremely low (barely visible) and i was fighting the next to last rival battle outside the league and it was a tough match. i was scared i wouldnt make it. BUT I WON! but the game cut off. Haha atleast it let me finish the match...
I was pissed when an idiot teacher took away my tournament deck when I was outside of the school, AFTER SCHOOL. Damn I was pissed. I had to rework my deck and everything. Scrambling in the late hours just to prepare for the next tournament. GAH.
@Valencianista1984 G/S/C is awesome too :P But the best part is that Green is a gym leader and Red is an totally epic final-boss x'D So I guess they're awesome cause of R/B/G/Y ^^

But the fact is that there are only 151 real pokemon, and that all the new ones are impossible, but they made them because they can win much money with continuing pokemon in the infinty,(in 10years, 7000pokemons?
And also the phsychic type and focus energy was in the begin like fuck, but when i think about it, 10years after, it's like, yeah a legendary thing of the original pokemon ;)
I know they excist for the money, but still, some of my favourites are 2nd gen, so even if they were made just for money, doesn't mean they aren't real :P I stopped supporting after 2nd gen because the pokémon didn't really look like pokémon anymore... But 2nd gen is acually very alike 1st gen in quality and feeling xD

And also what i heared is that pikachu eloves from something, thats also bullshit, People got pikachus over years, even from level2, so its impossible that it evolves from something. It's like tomorow we discover that cats are rabbits until they are 1year old :D

I remember playing pokemon blue when i was 3 years old and having my overpowered level 89 charizard and other pokemon that were weak as hell but i kept them around for HM's they knew.
This song reminds me of my gameboy battery being extremely low (barely visible) and i was fighting the next to last rival battle outside the league and it was a tough match. i was scared i wouldnt make it. BUT I WON! but the game cut off. Haha atleast it let me finish the match...

I was pissed when an idiot teacher took away my tournament deck when I was outside of the school, AFTER SCHOOL. Damn I was pissed. I had to rework my deck and everything. Scrambling in the late hours just to prepare for the next tournament. GAH.

waw, i remembre when i past this for the first time in 1998, it gaves me good/strange feelings.
(BTW, only red, blue and yellow are real, there are only 151pokemons, the rest is imposible and bullshit)

@Valencianista1984 G/S/C is awesome too :P But the best part is that Green is a gym leader and Red is an totally epic final-boss x'D So I guess they're awesome cause of R/B/G/Y ^^

@RedxAngelx Ok i can believe that the games are very good (i never played, so i can't judge).
But the fact is that there are only 151 real pokemon, and that all the new ones are impossible, but they made them because they can win much money with continuing pokemon in the infinty,(in 10years, 7000pokemons?
And also the phsychic type and focus energy was in the begin like fuck, but when i think about it, 10years after, it's like, yeah a legendary thing of the original pokemon ;)

I know they excist for the money, but still, some of my favourites are 2nd gen, so even if they were made just for money, doesn't mean they aren't real :P I stopped supporting after 2nd gen because the pokémon didn't really look like pokémon anymore... But 2nd gen is acually very alike 1st gen in quality and feeling xD
Dude, my Butterfree was UNBEATABLE xDD That's what made the game easy, tho D: Sleep powder->physic = win.

@RedxAngelx I saw some pictures, and gen 3,4,5,6,7,...i dont know how many there are now,lol, looks like real peace of shit.
I saw some pictures of gen 2, some looks cool, but there are many that you can say, -> that's this animal ( you have a dog, girafe, spider,...)
And in the original, they are all awesome, excepted magikarp maybe ;)

Ok these are like togepi, the bird seen in ep.1, and others, maybe some legendary.
But it's IMPOSSIBLE that in a town 10miles away they use other starters.
And i watched a random new episode, and there was a man who tells things about 50 years ago when he was young, and he already had new poke at home

But then again, it's meant for kids so we can't expect flawless logic :P
But Togepi is 2nd gen, right? As Gold/Crystal get's it in the G/S/C games...? But then again, Ho-Oh (that bird in ep. 1) is also a legendary you can catch first in G/S/C, not R/B/G/Y, and that's still a 1st gen, so I guess... xD

@RedxAngelx yeah togepi and that bird, were never in the pokedex, because they weren't discovered, like all the others.
And also what i heared is that pikachu eloves from something, thats also bullshit, People got pikachus over years, even from level2, so its impossible that it evolves from something. It's like tomorow we discover that cats are rabbits until they are 1year old :D

@RedxAngelx yes, for me it stopped after gen1, like many people. It's sad that they didn't make more episodes with gen1 after the orange league.
But i'm happy i lived the time were pokemon (gen1) was great, at school with the trading cards, the game on gameboy, the series at 4PM after school :D
Gen1 had/and will always have the greatest succes

In fact it was my second fav gen right after gen 2 but i have to say the new games are not bad.If it wasnt for the newer games we wouldnt even be sitting here talking about pokemon because it would of stopped in the early 2000s.I mean, id never choose the new games over the originals but black and white are just like r/b/y, they have the bad guys the good guys the story the awesome music and the pokemon.

@Valencianista1984 i do think the new pokemon do look sorta weird though....i mean, come on...garbador? really? but other than that the games are fine and instead of using a link cable you can just use wireless...also with wifi you can trade and battle with people all over the world where as r/b/y you could only trade and battle with people next to you......also i 100% agree with you guys about the anime...the new anime sucks really bad

@0plmkoijn0 ok, but your story about linkcable and wifi, is just because off the technological advance between 1997 and 2010, i mean if wifi was invented in 1988, then in red/blue you also could have battle with people over the world.
But I think battling with friends is much funnier than with random people over the world ;)
