Why? I don't understand your point. He is saying that whilst you are here you will experience reality in the way of physical matter, with a 'body' for you to experience this dimension.

@NATEandtheMONKEY Yep, well we still read in most science books that the origin of consciousness is an outcome of chemical processes in the brain, yet this statement avoids a problematic and fundamental question: Why do conscious and experiencing beings -such as us- even exist in the first place? Did superficial brain processes invent our bodies, the earth, and the entire universe? This wouldn’t make sense. Not talking of a separate God here, simply of consciousness being fundamental in nature.
@TheLucidMinded i was raised catholic, and about the time i was 10-14 i felt the same as i think you do. i'm certain my interest in astronomy showed me how ridiculous religion is. later i came to the point where i don't "believe" things. i am comfortable with unknowns. and i absolutely refuse to fill in the blanks without quantifiable evidence. no matter how i feel. consciousness can be explained as a circumstance of evolution. although i know that wont sway you. @NATEandtheMONKEY What I find funny is, why do we need proof of consciousness, when we are living proof? When Nature, even at the molecular level.. is proof? Even though a rock may seem uneven, when you look at the patterns of an atom and its particles, it orbits the same way as a solar system. The fibonnaci pattern is everywhere: Galaxies, snail shells, the hair pattern at the top of our heads, DNA, Hurricanes etc... flawlessly geometrical snowflakes and sound patterns... we're all connected :)

She is speaking of her experience when having her left-brain absolutely shut off during her stroke. Fascinating and insightful :) Peace brother!!

I can say that I feel a connection to things at times. and i certainly do! in fact, the more i learn about nature (everything) the more connected i feel. but, i can't quantify it so i kinda just let it go at that. gonna watch stroke of insight now. didnt get the chance to the other day, any other good stuff?
