  • I like the rock music at the end

  • I really love your original wooden dummy and your fighting philosophy (I'm french sorry for my english) ... big pleasure for me to watch this video ;)

  • Interesting but now very portable

  • that is one strange wooden dummy

  • @kangdanlin It is, but it is fun to play around with.

  • The music is from the Music Bakery, I bought the rights to use it. I don't know the name of the track, it sounded nice so I bought it

  • Great video, very useful! I also wondered what the music was? Sounds like ideal training music!

  • Classic techniques dont work sorry but I have this problem also with tai chi and learning mauy thai and kickboxing, boxing is more practical for todays martial artists.Just get your self a heavy bag and do a few workouts like combinations and body movements shuffles is that simple no long explainations and stupid theories

  • @Jimmy36507 You are absolutely right about that IF you are into a competitive art, I don't have theories, I have proven techniques that have worked for my students on the street for over 25 years. I do not teach a competitive art and theories that don't work.

  • a good place to go to compare your video work for commercials is "turnhere.com" then click the video gallery tab and watch the work others have done.

  • are the tips brown from him sittin on em .... buttchi

  • Thumbs up

I love this dummy, and the practice you do on it.

A lot of things for my own art come to mind, so here`s the obvious question:

Is there any chance to get the specs or the plans for this dummy?

I am into woodworking myself, and this beauty makes my toolfingers itch.

I suspect however there`s more to the exact specs then just a box on legs with some arms sticking out.

At any rate thanks very much for sharing this.

Take care and have a nice weekened

    silk

take care and have a good week

    silk

  • @FlowingMotiondotcom I'd love to get your input on some of my work. I love how 2 weeks equals a month for you....

  • i would like to see more of your dummy videos

  • What nonsense. You dolt.

  • @michael141165 I've been to your channel and watched your videos. It seems that you may be a good boxing coach. However, I don't know a whole lot about boxing. I see that you teach people that to use your technique of reactive punches one must let the other person hit you. Being a woman (and a small one at that), I personally don't want to get hit at all. If I would have used your boxing fundamentals, I would have been in the hospital. I like the idea of getting out of the way of the punch.

  • @zavverack I'm glad to here that you are all right. I hope posting this video will further your ability for self-defense. I would love to here about your experience and what you did to prevent a catastrophe in your life. Thanks for the comment

  • @zavverack punches don't shorten your life and they dont hurt as bad as you think, AND the more punches you take the more you get used to it and don't even really feel the minor ones anymore. If you get in a fight, You WILL GET HIT. so maybe fighting isn't for you.

  • @jeff61177 I wasn't fighting. I'm a mom with 5 kids walking to my front door and I got jumped. By a big mamba woman. She tried to put me through a window because I wasn't the right color. But because of the principles I've learned, I sent her through the window instead. Like I'm going to just let her (or anyone) hit me. And no I'm not afraid of getting hit, I just don't have to anymore thanks to flowing motion.

  • @zavverack maybe Im not getting it but I would never LET anyone hit me, but in a serious brawl you WILL get hit. Sounds like you had a brief brush with someone and were able to escape quickly, Wich is the ultimate goal of any fight. Good work.

  • That has to be the most bad ass wooden dummy I have ever seen!!!!! great video!!!

  • @12Tamtui Thanks man, had a lot of fun making it

P.S. If it's not fun why bother!
