Doh, Sharleen's covering Yvonne Elliman because the theme of this show is Saturday Night Fever. I love her new album! It's got a number of songs that I have had as faves for a long time. I don't think her album is intended to be a complete re-working of movie songs, it is more like her showing her appreciation for some of her favourite movie songs. This is why I think that they have similar arrangements to the originals. So yeah, I don't think it was ever intended to be a 'this is my version' album but more of a 'I love these songs' album. Yay for Sharleen! It's a great album.

There's a version somewhere but I can't find it of Adam's and Sharleen's versions mixed and it's beautiful.

the best cover version I've heard of this song, close to the original Elliman recording, it does what a lot of diabolical versions didn't (Kim Wilde anyone) it kept the richness and layering of the track. Sharleen rocks!
